Sirens!

Later that night, I started hearing a beautiful voice singing and I noticed Damian wasn't in bed anymore. I hastily walked out of the tent to see all of Damian's's men walking towards the lake even Lucian but where was Damian. I ran to Lucian to ask what was going on but he didn't seem to notice or hear me.

It's like they were all under some spell. I did notice that all the servant girls weren't affected by the voice. The singing was coming from the lake and then it hit me.

SIRENS!!, the mythical creatures capable of shape Shifting, Telepathy, Hypnotizing through singing and reading minds. But why were they in a lake, they dwelled in open water bodies like oceans and seas and what was l supposed to do.

I've read about them in books and the only way to kill a siren is by stabbing it with a bronze dagger or sword, I knew Lucian had one but the problem was that the dagger was supposed to be coated with the blood of it's infected victim, so I went to get the dagger.

And also how could I stab a siren, I came out of Lucian's tent with the dagger strapped to my skirt and suddenly I felt someone's presence behind me, it was Damian. A sense of relief washed over me. What are we going to do Damian we have to kill those sirens or their Queen to stop them.

Damian just continued looking at me and brought out his bronze dagger he then said we have to injure one of my men, we had to get to them first before the sirens get them .

Ok, I said and was waiting for Damian to move to injure one of his men, he was the one with the dagger becausehe couldn't see mine, I turned away from him and turned back to tell to act fast when I felt a sharp pain on my side. Damian stabbed me on the side of my stomach, my face contoured in pain and I realized it was a Siren who came in form of Damian.

So what did they do with Damian, I was in so much pain and the siren started walking away when Damian's maids started charging at her with various weapons, swords, daggers and others.

It turns out that they weren't ordinary msids but warriors, I saw more sirens emerge out of the water and I noticed they were trying to protect siren Damian and I deduced hat she was the queen, I had to kill her because if she dies all the other sirens would die too. But how was I going to accomplish that when I was injured. Then my eyes traveled to Lucian's bronze dagger strapped to my skirt and I took it out, then I looked at the men who were already in the entering the lake and then...
