Greatlake

The next morning we all gathered our things I changed into clean clothes after having my bath and I took my bag, after eating we started our next journey to Greatlake but to my horror we weren't using the carriages, we were using horses, I didn't know how to ride a horse.

I asked Lucian why we couldn't use the carriages and he said horses are much faster and we needed to get out of here as soon as possible because of a possible attack from that mad king.

Can you ride a horse, Lucian asked. I akwardly shook my head and Lucian laughed and said I could ride with him I was about to get on his horse when I suddenly felt a chill down my spine and I turned to see Damian staring daggers at Lucian.

If stares could kill Lucian would be on the floor by now with a million knives scattered all over his body. Why was Damian so worked up about it.

You can ride with me, Damian said and I was shocked, I wanted to reject him but I saw the pleading look Lucian gave me and a glint of mischief in his eyes and immediately knew Lucian did this to rile Damian up, but why did Damian seem so worked up about it and I didn't want to think about it because I've been thinking alot recently and I needed to reduce it, it isn't healthy but what can I do, I'm dwelling in the mist of literal blood suckers.

I got on the horse after Damian as he lifted me with ease I sat behind me with my hands around his waist and as the horse started moving my grip around his waste tightened, I started feeling really sick but didn't say anything because I didn't want to slow down the group and also a mad king might capture us.

I knew Damian was not riding with his usual speed because we were way behind the other riders , he slowed down for me but I still felt like throwing up. I endured till Damian told them to take a break and sent some men to find a place were we could camp for the night, immediately I got of the horse I started throwing up and the servant girls helped me clean up.

I always wondered why Lucian and Damian brought maids to a camp were a war could break out, and they could even ride horses , something I couldn't do but what did I expect I was a maid too with zero privileges.

Did Damian order his men to stop for the night because of me, I asked myself. Then I remembered how he treated me after saving his men and I doubted he would slow his whole army down for me. No matter how hard I tried to shake the thought away, it didn't how away. Could it be that...
