It's been 31 days since the incident and Damian and Lucian haven't been in the right frame of my mind. After the arrow hit Damian he became extremely weak and saw the strange man carry Andronika away but couldn't do anything because he's whole body became numb. A few moments later Lucian found him on the floor immobile. They lost alot of their men, more than half and they couldn't be given a proper burial because of the bodies were turned into dust.

What are we going to do now, breaking into his palace is suicidal in your current condition, Lucian said.

Atleast rest for thre more days, Lucian said. If I know Balthazar well enough he's going to drain her completely and this won't be good .
