1 I. Humanity's Last Stand

The last of the human race fought the cyborgs (Half machine, half humans) for the right of Earth and ulitmately failed. In the end, earth was destroyed and the cyborgs flew off to the endless universe in a moon sized star ship. Only about a million of the human race were captured alive for the purpose of making them as slaves. Though the cyborgs were basically machine, they still have human traits like endless desire, dominance, greed, power and sovereignty. Because the humans has limited life span that makes them disposable and useless in just only a few years; they created the Androids to function as their servants instead. Their body designs were based on human biology, synthetic skeleton and muscle fibers are created stronger than carbon based materials. Their brain were made similarly to a drone intelligence, for absolute control over the androids. And finally, to maximize the life of the androids, their master design their life batteries that can absorb any forms of energy within 100 meters radius with limited storage.

Then each cyborgs upgraded their system superior to the androids. Maintaining their own self awareness, they had improved their bodies with nanotechnology. They created various powerful weapons, like the giant super robots called Gigas which the androids can pilot and served as a battery and Terra weapons, a nano technology based armament that can become into any form.

The humans were physically weak and powerless against the cyborgs but they were smart enough to copy the technology on creating an android. The last of the human scientists, mechanics and engineers created 12 androids that served the humans. They had improved their artificial intelligence and loaded them with human memories, processing, awareness, curiosity and intelligence. Their tactile perceptions were installed and even created sympathy to others. It took them a long time to create and improve the life batteries of the androids because of the complexity of the design and resources to build it. Eventually, they can only create 12 life batteries leading to 12 androids.

The remaining humans post no threats against the cyborgs, they were disregarded and were left to die in hunger. With their limited resources of food and water, the humans maximized their resources up to 5 years. As their last resort, they have invented pods that can preserve their bodies in thousands of years. However, since they have limited resources, the pods created were only about to a hundred thousand. The humans were conflicted, who will be preserved in the pods. Most of the humans voted that the children must be preserved. Some of them disagreed and resorted to killing other humans especially the old and sick ones. There were fights and bloodshed resulting to hundreds of death. The riot was inhumane, selfish and merciless. Many of them hid themselves in fear. After the riot was over, a thousand of them forced themselves to be put in the pod.

There were anguish and hate. But most of the humans still voted not to destroy the used pods because of good conscience and it will be a waste. Later they all decided the children will be the one using the pods. When all of the children were inside pods, hundreds of thousand adults were left. A few thousands of them volunteered to stay. They randomly picked anyone to be put inside to the rest of the pods.

The remaining humans programmed the 12 androids to take care of the humans pods while they travel the universe. The human androids ultimate directive is to preserve and restore the human race, protecting the one hundred thousand of the human pods.

A thousand years of space conquest the cyborgs conquered and destroyed hundreds of civilizations, until they had reached a mysterious planet. The planet was as huge as Jupiter with a hundred moons. They have reached Aeden, home of mystical beings.
