Chapter 31 "Come on, angel! Come on!" I shook my head in frustration and pushed the door to Heaven open. There was no way I was going to let him drag me off anywhere this early in the morning. Especially not today. Especially not now, after everything that happened over the past week. After everything I told him. I knew what I was asking… It was selfish… But I couldn't risk him leaving me again. He'd done so many times. He had left me behind time and time again over the past few years. I had seen him walk out before. I didn't want to have to live my life without him again. Not just yet, at least. Not yet… But it was clear that he wouldn't be deterred… He wasn't going to listen to me. Not this time. I sighed as I walked towards him, trying to keep pace with him, but not quite managing to. "Crowley, wait…" I said sternly, forcing myself to move faster so I could catch up to him. "Don't push it, please," I begged as I managed to grab hold of his arm and stopped him. "Why the hell not?! I have to see him… Have to… Tell him…" He protested as he struggled weakly to free himself. "Please, Crowley… You'll end up breaking your bond with him, and that isn't worth it," I murmured softly as I squeezed his arm reassuringly, giving him a soft smile in hope that would hopefully calm him down enough. "Fine! Whatever!" He exclaimed impatiently as he pulled his arm away from my grasp as he stormed angrily forward. I sighed tiredly and followed after him. "Let's go, angel." I shook my head, biting my lip anxiously, before following him. "No," I whispered determinedly. "No? Why not?" He asked curiously as he looked back at me questioningly. "Because I'm staying here and waiting for him, that's why," I huffed indignantly at him as he continued walking forward, stopping in his tracks as he raised an eyebrow at me questioningly.
