But... He learned to cope with it. 2, Tame the tyrant... Check! Just when he was adapting to this new world, and was gradually falling in love with the tyrant prince, while continuously maxing it as his affection for the face since it belonged to his lover, he came to realize that he hadn't transmigrated anywhere, rather, he was living the first of the last three lifetimes where his death were beyond tragic among the hundreds of loves he and his lover had lived together and this... It was a simple repetition which meant all that was happening were real and this man, the tyrant prince whom he was trying hard not to fall for, was his lover in this lifetime. 3, Find a way to return home... Pending! How exactly was he going to cope with this new information when he was halfway across the empire with no way to communicate with the tyrant prince? How exactly was he going to sink in the fact that in this life, one of them was going to die all over again and then repeat the same in the next two that were to come? He felt he would run mad and in all this, wondered, "What exactly was it that brought us this tragic fate?" ********* NOTE: Aside from their tragic love story of different lifetimes, the contents of this book aren't entirely sad and filled with tears and bloodshed. There are a lot of comical/funny events that will lighten your heart in preparation for the tragedy to come.

I feel like he's staring at me

Those were the words Yeon Jin heard one time while he was unconscious. Because he wasn't naturally from that world, nothing in that world could harm his soul.

His body may be physically wounded but his heart will never stop beating for anything from the world. In other words, the only one who could kill him was himself since he wasn't from the world.

'But I don't like pain.' Yeon Jin thought.

Though he didn't have to be afraid of dying, there was such a thing called torture. He wouldn't be able to handle being wounded for long and having his body ache.

Beric was smart enough and would be able to catch on to that fact if the hints were given and then he would torture him, so he decided to keep most of it to himself.

Beric tapped his gloved fingers on the table, one at a time as they both fell into a dead silence. He was thinking.

As far as what he had witnessed, Yeon Jin couldn't die. Even the scar he had left on his face earlier on had healed itself.

For an opponent whom he couldn't kill, it was best to draw him to his side but this one... He was just too stubborn. Was it even possible to control such a person without the use of force?

'I feel like he's staring at me.' Beric thought.

Yeon Jin was indeed staring at Beric. Though his eyes were covered with the blindfold, his gaze was apparently obvious. He was staring deep into Beric's deep purple eyes. They were just like Daniel's.

As much as he didn't want to find things and resemblance of Daniel in this bone head, he couldn't help but see everything in him. Aside from the dressing, every other thing was the same.

Gradually, his heart beat accelerated. Not in a good way but an alarming way. He felt heartache and just couldn't bring himself to accept the fact that he might not see Daniel ever.

He looked aside with his pained expression and pursed his lips.

Beric noticed the shift in Yeon Jin's mood but didn't say anything about it.

"Are we done here?" Yeon Jin asked. "It's already pretty late and I didn't get to eat anything so I was thinking of sleeping in peace."

Those were his coded words for 'Get the hell out, you're a disturbance.'

Though Beric perceived his words as such, he did not say anything and simply got to his feet. He had his suspicions on why Yeon Jin had that sort of expression but he kept it to himself, minding his own business and ignoring what was in front of him.

Without a word, he headed for the door and walked out.

Once Yeon Jin confirmed he was gone, he took off his blindfold, exposing his dry eyes that soon became teary. He didn't want to cry. He really didn't but... How was he to tell his heart that separation didn't mean the end? It was just too painful for him and he decided to just sleep it off.

Thankfully, if he could look past this for now and a few more days, he would get better. He just had to try not to show his tears to Beric or any one else.

The next day, Yeon Jin was called to the dining room. He looked at the food and then at Beric seated at the end.

"You want me to eat that?" He asked him and Beric looked up. He didn't say a word and just stared at him. "Hm." He folded his arms.

Stein and Allen stood at attention at Beric's left and right side in silence and watched as the atmosphere turned heavy with the two exchanging lightning bolt glares.

"It's not poisoned." Beric said.

"Uh-huh?" He was clearly not convinced.

"I had the cook taste it." Beric said. "So sit down and eat."

Yeon Jin looked on and sighed. He dropped his folded arms and approached the table. He stood for a moment and asked,

"Did you kill the chef from yesterday's dinner?" He asked and with an indifferent face, Beric answered.

"All I did was feed them with the food they served." He said and Yeon Jin sighed. He shouldn't have asked.

He sat right next to Beric and without hesitation, started eating and to their surprise, he ate without a problem.

Stein was trying hard to hold his laughter. Beric was being disrespected and instead of him feeling offended, he was actually trying to please him. What a relationship?

Yeon Jin inwardly rejoiced as he ate the food. There was nothing wrong with it, it was delicious and he had been so hungry that he heard his stomach grumble over and over again. He just put on that act a while ago because he didn't want to be perceived as easy.

After clearing the plate in front of him and having cake as dessert, he cleaned his mouth and made a silent burp.

"Excuse me." He said and finally smiled.

They all looked at him in disbelief. A moment ago, it looked like he wasn't ready to eat, no matter what was given to him but he shocked them by clearing everything in front of him.

"So," Yeon Jin began after cleaning his hands. "...what do you want me to do?"
