Proactive Charlotte

Ban stood up and asked, "What happened. Did you encounter some trouble? Are you okay?"

Charlotte felt warmth inside. She then shook her head and replied, "N-No. I'm totally fine." She paused and continued, "Sister Nana... is a bit strange lately. When I visit her earlier, she only dazed and out of focus."

Ban frowned a bit and asked, "Are you in the auction building? I'll go there now."

"I'm outside of auction building. Is it convenient for you to come over?" Charlotte carefully asked.

"Mm. I just arrived here in Capital. Don't go anywhere, I'll be there in a bit."

"Okay."

Ban turned at Tina, "I'll be out for a while. I also blessed your grandpa. So you better send the doctors and nurses away later to avoid getting your gramps into trouble."

Tina was pleasantly surprised hearing Ban's news. She nodded and said, "Be careful."

Ban took a glass of water and injected a light element on the water. He passed the glass of water to her which the color returned back after baptized by the light and said, "Give this glass of water to the doctors. A drop of this water can cure or prevent any poison from flaring up in ones body. It's up to them if they believe it or not."

"I'm sure they will believe that. Giving how they admired your miracles." Tina chuckled slightly.

Ban nodded as he also smiled. He kissed her forehead and said, "Call me if that guy harrass you again. I'll deal with him sooner or later after I solve the other matters at hand. After that, I'll come and visit you again as soon as possible."

Tina closed her eyes as she smiled. She nodded silently in response.

Ban recalled something and gave her a bag full of Profound Stones to help her in gathering energies. He repeatedly warned her on how potent these items. He also told her not directly advanced into Origin Profound Realm until she consolidate her power.

Tina nodded and stored the Profound Stones into her necklace.

*Swish!*

After Ban left, Tina invited the others inside. Few relatives also arrived back in the mansion and were puzzled when they saw the medical team were outside the room of their old patriarch.

Upon hearing Tina's voice, the doctors and nurses ignored the inquiries of the Davies' family members and rushed inside the room to see the miracle.

And they began to cheer when they saw Old Max regained his normal skin color. In fact, his skin is much more younger than before. He looked close to a middle aged man rather than a willy old man.

Tina told the doctors and nurses the secrecy of the matter and gave them the glass of water and explained it's properties.

The doctors jumped in surprise and treated the glass of water with care. They immediately treated it like a Holy Water in the legends.

Tina didn't explained why Ban wasn't in the room. She only send the doctors away after the matters of her grandpa was settled.

The doctors and nurses didn't ask more. However, they already regarded Tina as the Miracle Doctor's partner. Maybe someday, they might look for her if they want to see the Miracle Doctor again.

After confirming that everthing was fine on Old Max' condition, the doctors and nurses returned back the their hospital to share the Holy water on the patients that was inflicted by the Demon Beast poison. Also to secretly spread the deed of Miracle Doctor in their field.

Tina was left with her family members and has no other choice but to tell them a brief explanation on her grandpa's condition.

She told them that in order to save her grandpa, his power has been abolished or rather, restarted in order to cure the poison. However, he will regain his youthful appearance as the side effect.

Many family members doubted her claim. It's even more exaggerated when they heard her that the old man will regain his youthful appearance.

Tina smiled faintly when she heard their cry of disbeliefs. She shrugged her shoulder and waited for her grandpa to awaken to shut them up.

Ban already met with Charlotte and they were heading to the underground of the building to visit Nana.

"You said she was muttering something that you don't understand?" He asked.

Charlotte nodded, "Yes. I kind of heard her saying the word 'mother' and 'father' in between her words."

Ban raised his brows. Recalling that Nana's mother was already dead. And according to Areana, her father came from the Western Realm.

'Did her father gave her a dream or something?'

Ban shook his head and decided to meet with Nana to confirm the matter.

A hand suddenly grabbed on Ban's shirt. Ban was puzzled and stared at Charlotte in confusion.

"I-I can't see in the dark. Sister Nana's power seemed to be out of control." Charlotte found an excuse and meekly stared at Ban with a blushing face.

Ban blinked his eyes and the dark element was indeed slowly devouring their vision while they were still in the elevator.

Even electric lights weren't exception. The moment the dark fog lingers in those lights, it automatically lost it's luster and soon got devoured by darkness.

Ban held Charlotte's slim waist and then led her out of the elevator. With his perception, the darkness began to fade and proceeded to the room of Nana in a slow pace.

Charlotte on the other hand shivered a little. Not from fear of dark, but the warm hand of Ban that held her waist. She felt butterflies in her stomach at thr moment and was feeling overwhelmed.

She wasn't afraid of her sister's dark power. In fact, she felt safe knowing that the dark element lingered around came from her sister.

She just needed a little help from Ban in order to move around faster. Who would've though that he directly grabbed her waist in an intimate manner like a couple do just like she saw from the movies and amusement parks.

Ban felt both arms of Charlotte slowly creeping around his body. He saw her face was beet red yet she was smiling happily. He didn't know how to react, but he decided to let it be and focused up front where Nana's office was located. Soon, they arrived inside the office without any hitch.

Charlotte's beautiful face showed a satisfied expression while wrapping her arms around Ban. Her courage soared that she even smelled his manly fragrance and almost let out a so called giggle of happiness.

Ban totally ignored Charlotte's action as he was focused on the figure sitting on a chair while sipping a wine from time to time.

Nana's other arm was supporting her chin while having a deep thought.

Ban's lips twitched once again when he saw her luscious body without any dress on. With her inviting yet so perfect figure, his body unconsciouly warmed in excitement. Those pouty red lips with a little pink color on her cheeks from the effects of the wine make her look like an urban beauty in a bar enjoying her time drinking. But this time, Nana was totally naked which invoked his animal instinct once again.

'Sigh* This woman... Is she an exhibitionist in her previous life or something? Why can't she dress up properly for once?' He sighed in his mind as he approached her in slow pace with Charlotte in tow.
