The Dragon Palace

After the first teleportation old man Qian and the two children came outside of a cave.

"Is this our ancestral home?" asked little Zenzen. She was a little disappointed after looking at the cave.

"No… This is my home… we will go to our ancestral home by using the teleportation formation" said old man Qian feeling bitter.

Zhu Shen looked at old man Qian and asked him "Why are you looking sad old Qian?"

"Nothing… I'm leaving my home that's why I'm feeling sad" said old man Qian while avoiding eye contact. 'Hmph …. What a kid like you know how much it cost to use a teleportation formation... If not for the rewards I would have never used it'

"Let's go inside and prepare for the teleportation." hiding his thoughts old man Qian said to the kids while going inside the cave.

The kids followed inside the cave and were shocked by what they saw inside.

The whole mountain was hollow inside and was filled with dense forest. Inside the cave animals were living happily and birds were singing.

'This is like whole another world inside this mountain' thought Zhu Shen

"Welcome to my humble abode", said old man Qian laughing. He was quite elated looking at the astonishing look on the two children's faces.

"All this place is your home grandpa Qian?" asked little Zenzen curiously.

"This is just my farm for food where I hunt….", said old man Qian while talking he shut his mouth as he realized that he talked too much.

"Let's go to the teleportation formation… I will show you my home some other time." while changing the topic old man Qian picked the kids up and fly towards the teleportation formation.

After about 2 hours they reached a stone altar fully made up of emperor jade. The altar was larger than a football stadium and in the middle of it was the teleportation circle. The whole altar was densely packed with some unknown symbols that Zhu Shen was unable to understand so he asked old man Qian about the symbols.

"What are those symbols on the altar old man Qian?"

Old man Qian said in general tone, "These are called Runes… they are quite useful. These runes are the foundation for the teleportation formation"

"This is just like a fairy tale…. Grandpa Qian, can we go anywhere using this teleportation formation?" asked little Zenzen. She was quite elated at how things are turning out in her real-life now.

"Not quite anywhere, there are special nodes where two teleportation formation connects. This is the only special node that connects the earth." said old man Qian but soon he realized that Zhu Shen was looking at him weirdly.

'Oh no… I said too much' regret flashed through old man Qian's eyes.

"Old man, I think you are hiding something from me arent you?" said Zhu Shen while looking at the old man with an angered gaze.

"Sigh, I can't lie young master, our ancestral land is in a different world than earth." said old man Qian apologetically.

Zhu Shen's whole body shook. 'Different world means we are all aliens?...why our parents come here?' a lot of questions flashed through Zhu Shen's mind but he kept quiet

'I need to go there to receive the inheritance so that I can get stronger and help Tian Yu'

a beautiful face flashed through his mind and his determination grew stronger. He picked up little Zenzen and said to old man Qian,

"Let us get going."

Seeing the determination in the young man's eyes made old man Qian relieved. He ordered the guards "Prepare the teleportation formation towards the Dragon Palace"

"Yes my Lord." said the guards as they started to chant in a different language.

"The dragon palace..! Will we see dragons there?" asked little Zenzen nervously. The last 6 hours of her life were like a dream to the little girl.

"Yes, of course, little Zenzen not only we can see the dragons but also ride on them inside the dragon place!" said old man Qian.

'The bastard dragon that will have the opportunity to be ridden by these nobles will be the luckiest in the whole universe!' thought the old man.

"Yey… " the little girl was so happy that she started jumping and running around the other two.

"This girl, don't run you will fall…." said Zhu Shen as he started running after her.

All the guards saw two kids running around and looked at their lord and started whispering among themselves

'Who are these kids? Our lord is talking to them so casually… I have never seen our lord talk like this.'

'These kids have no qi emitting from them, they are ordinary kids. Why is our lord protector entertaining them?'

All sorts of comments were passed on between the guards but nobody knew how important these kids were. Only their Lord knew.

Lord Qian was sweating as he looked after the kids. 'If my master found even a scratch on them he will kill me.'

Half an hour later all the runes were in place and the node towards the dragon palace opened.

"My lord everything is ready." said the guard in charge of teleportation.

Old man Qian felt relieved as he shouted "oi kids stop running, it's time to go... "

"Okay…." said both Zenzen and zhu shen as they both walked together with old man Qian.

Before entering the portal old man Qian warned them,

"Do not talk loudly while inside the teleportation channel otherwise we all will get killed."

"Yes…!" both kids said as they entered the teleportation channel after old man Qian.

At first, Zhu Shen thought that old man Qian was unnecessarily scaring them but after he saw monsters as large as earth roaming around the space tunnel, he was quite terrified.

He held little Zenzen into his embrace tightly as she was shaking from the sight in front of her.

"Everything will turn out better just relax." Zhu Shen whispered inside her ears.

Time passed and soon they saw the end of the space tunnel and felt relieved. Even old man Qian felt that huge boulder has been lifted from his heart.

"Finally..!" said Zhu Shen as he stepped out of the space tunnel into a similar-looking teleportation formation inside a forest.

"Where are we old man, where is the dragon palace?" asked Zhu Shen looking at the vast jungle in front of them.

"The jungle in front of us is just an illusion to hide the location of the dragon gate." the old man said as he walked towards the jungle.

"After we enter this place I will become stronger and no one will dare to bully little Zenzen." Zhu Shen said as he patted the little girl.

Zhu shen followed behind cautiously after the old man and after he entered the jungle he found out that the scenery in front of him changed completely.

In front of him stood a vast red city. The city was so big that one cannot see the end of the city. There were palaces, courtyards and markets where a lot of people were gathered. The most eye-catching this was that dragons as big as mountains were flying and patrolling the entire city.

"Little Zenzen look at those dragons…." he pointed at the dragons flying over the city and said.

At first little Zenzen was happy about riding dragons. But after seeing the size of those dragons she felt quite afraid.

Old man Qian turned around smiled and said to the kids, "Welcome to the dragon palace kids… "
