Out of the top 10 disciples, Zhu Shen actually recognized 2 of the disciples.
'It's them…'
They were both Su XinQian and Lin Fan whom he met during the entrance examinations. This time their auras were much more stable and powerful. It seemed like Zhu Shen was not the only one who made progress during his time in the dragon palace.
After getting warned by the top 10 disciples, even though disciples on top of the stage were scared, they still remained motionless. Everyone knew that dragonblood pool was once in a lifetime opportunity that might change their fate. All remaining disciples greeted their teeth and stood firmly on their respective platforms.
After 10 seconds passed,
Each of the top 10 disciples disappeared from their respective position and…

While this was happening Zhu Shen looked at the opponent in front of him.

Lin Fan looked at Zhu SHen with hatred in his eyes. The person in front of him was the one who took all the limelight in the entrance exam of dragon palace. Because of the person in front of him, he was failed to complete the inner sect leader's task of getting first place.
Later on, after investigating Zhu Shen's background, he found out that Zhu Shen was a mere nobody with no backing. After confirming Zhu Shen's background hatred inside Lin Fan's eyes intensified more and more.
'I will definitely kill you today…'
Zhu Shen could see killing intent in Lin Fan's eyes. He did not know why the person in front of him giving him such a vicious stare. But Lin Fan's next word made Zhu Shen lose control.

Without even waiting for the elder to start the match, Zhu Shen's punch directly landed on Lin Fan's chest.

Cracking noises started coming out of Lin Fan's body as his body started growing at speed visible to naked eyes. Scales started growing on Lin Fan's entire body. His pupils turned scarlet red. But the most shocking thing was that on top of his head a massive horn started to grow.

Soon the horn on Lin Fan's head grew as long as 11 inches.
Everybody in the arena stopped breathing as they looked at Lin Fan with fearful eyes. This was legendary draconification. This was a speciality of dragon clan nobles. Only true-blooded nobles in the entire dragon clan had the ability to use draconification.
In this stage, the user basically possesses the strength of a half-dragon hence this transformation is also called half-dragon transformation.

Lin Fan also punched out with his own punch…
All the spectators forgot to breathe as both punches collided with each other.

Both Lin Fan and Zhu Shen both took two steps back.

Horror flashed through LinFan's eyes as he looked at Zhu Shen. It was a draw. All the spectators as well as ancestors were stupified.
Zhu Shen did not give Lin Fan any opportunity to retaliate at all and punched them once again. This time, Lin Fan punched with all of his strength.

This time even louder sound came from the stage. Spectators saw both opponents still in punching position with their fists touching each other.
The second exchange was a draw too…
