Seo Ahri’s Proposition

Gojin wasn't having any of it. He grabbed Seo Ahri by the shoulders and pinned her against the door. His eyes were akin to daggers staring at her sweet, innocent form.

"Don't mess with me," he warned her. "If you think I won't do anything to you just because you're a girl, you're mistaken. Now get lost before I lose my crap."

"Are you done?" she asked.

Gojin was taken by surprise. Instead of looking scared or intimidated, Seo Ahri smirked. The girl was trouble. He knew it and decided to stay out of her way.

Unfortunately, Seo Ahri had a different idea. As Gojin turned to move, she turned the tables on him. With a swift leg sweep, she knocked him off his feet and slammed him onto the ground.

He hit the concrete hard; the impact knocking the wind out of him. Not wasting any time, Seo Ahri straddled him, her hands pinning his arms to the ground.

"You need to let go of your habit of underestimating others," she smiled, settling comfortably on Gojin's waist. "If you had, you might have realized I'm better than all those jerks you just defeated."

Gojin's eyes widened in surprise at Seo Ahri's strength. She was stronger than him or else she couldn't have pinned him to the ground so easily. But before he could respond, the seniors stirred as they slowly got up, nursing their injuries.

Seo Ahri yelled at them to leave. Daeho, looking defeated, hesitated. He opened his mouth to say something, but Seo Ahri cut him off sharply.

"Get lost, you pig bastard!" she snarled. "Get out, all of you, or else!"

Daeho and the others bowed quickly and rushed out without a second complaint. Seo Ahri then turned her attention back to Gojin and her smile returned.

"I'm sorry for the nuisance. I just had to find out if Taejun and his gang got beaten up by some random person, or if it was just a rumor," she explained. "So I concocted a teat, and you passed!"

She let go of Gojin's arms but remained perched on top of him and continued, "I've been looking for people like you who could help me. I would appreciate-"

"Sorry, I already have too much on my plate," Gojin scoffed. "You can look for someone else to play with."

"Aw, don't be such a spoilsport," she leaned closer, her breath warm against his ear. "Obviously, it won't be for free. You'll make money. Or anything else you might want from me."

Gojin's body reacted involuntarily to her closeness, and he felt something rise in his pants. The little master had awakened from his slumber.

Not now! Please, not now! Think of something else! Anything! Damn it!

Despite Gojin's attempt to hold back his champion, Seo Ahri felt it too and smiled, looking mischievously at Gojin as his cheeks turned red from embarrassment. Intending to take advantage of the situation, she pressed her body against his, her breath hot on his skin.

"I can give you things," she whispered, playing with Gojin's emotions. "Things you never even dreamed of. Things no one else would do for you."

Before Gojin could say anything, Seo Ahri leaned even closer and kissed him deeply. Her tongue explored his mouth. The kiss was intense, sending shivers down his spine.

Not stopping there, she got hold of his hand and placed it on her back, letting him wander around and experience what was in store for him.

When she finally pulled away, her eyes sparkled with desire as she licked her lips. As for Gojin, he was too shocked to respond. None of his ancestors had prepared him for dealing with a vixen who knew exactly how beautiful she was and how to use it.

"Consider that my apology for putting you in a situation where you had to fight," she said, her voice low and husky. "And know that I'd be happy to reward you in the same way if you choose to work with me."

Gojin's mind snapped back to reality. He pushed Seo Ahri off, his face burning with anger and embarrassment at what happened.

"You disgust me," he said, getting to his feet. "Don't ever show your face to me again!"

Instead of being taken aback at the rejection, Seo Ahri smiled, undeterred in her flirty ways as she got up as well.

"Is that the way to treat your noona?" she asked sweetly. Gojin ignored her and was about to leave when she spoke again. "Oh, by the way, how's your stepfather's business doing? I heard he's in terrible debt."

Gojin froze in his tracks. The debt was a secret that only his stepfather should know about, especially at this point in time. Gojin himself only found out about it much later, when everything fell apart. But Seo Ahri already knew about it?

"How do you know about that?" he asked.

Seo Ahri smiled, knowing Gojin had taken the bait. Still, she acted innocent as she walked up to him.

"I have ears everywhere," she said, running her finger playfully across his chest. "If you decide to work for me, I can help you with that. Either I can pay you or deal with the debt by myself."

She continued, after gauging Gojin's response. "As long as you work for me, your family will only have to pay the principal amount your stepfather took from the loan sharks. If you do a good job, I can even work something out so they won't have to pay a single penny to anyone."

Upon hearing her offer, Gojin sighed. With Taejun's issue resolved, he had hoped to concentrate on handling his debt. Seo Ahri suggested an easier path.

It was not rocket science that earning back the principal sum of twenty million won was far more manageable than tackling the total debt, especially with its astronomical interest rates.

But can I trust her?

He didn't know much about Seo Ahri except that she hailed from a powerful family, though not the respectable sort. Entangling himself in her affairs might lead to trouble.

From their brief encounter, he knew Seo Ahri was dangerous, cunning, and had her own agenda. But her offer was tempting. His stepfather's debt was a constant worry, and the chance to ease that burden was hard to ignore.

I should discuss it with someone first. The Old man would be the right choice for it... I think.

"So, what will it be?" Seo Ahri inquired, back to being her bubbly self.

"Give me some time to think about it," Gojin replied.

"Sure, you can tell me tomorrow," Seo Ahri said with a smile, her eyes sparkling. "I really want you to join us. Especially after what happened between us."
