My father was a vampire and so my mom and Dad made the decision to turn me so I would have some sort of life. I came back and since I had never taken a breath of anything it basically changed almost as if I had been born that way. So, I will age until I'm 20 and will remain that way for all of eternity."

when Clara and Emile found out they were going to have a child, they were over joyed. Though they were also worried, Emile was a vampire and they didn't know what their child would be like. They watched caustiosly at each ultra sound and their daughter seemed to be alright, until her birth, which was a home birth for the whole "possible vampire" situation. It was as if her body couldn't handle leaving the womb and she was still born. The parents desperately wanted to hold their child and love her, so they decided to have Emile turn her into a full blooded vampire, hoping she could survive. When Emile bit her, it was as if she was still forming, and growing. When she turned it was almost as if she was born like that and would grow like any normal born vampire. The parents waited minutes watching their silent child, hoping that the bite would work, when after three minutes of fear filled silence, Their baby cried. They parents hadn't truly decided on a name yet but choose Anastasia because it means resurrection. Anastasia was homeschooled till the age of ten when her father knew she was ready to go to public school and knew she would be in control. That's when she met and became friends with Stiles and Scott. She was in the same class as them and some people had been teasing Ana because of how different she was. Scott being the natural leader and protector, he defended Ana and they instantly became friends .

Ana then in middle School had noticed she didn't have a crush on any of the boys like most her female class mates. She had a crush on this girl, her name was Mae and she was part of the popular kids. She pines after Mae, almost like Stiles did for Lydia but some how Ana kept it a secret from her friends, maybe because she was used to hiding everything important from them. little did Ana know, that Mae was crushing on her too.

Mae decides that this first day would be the first of many, she was going to talk with Ana and hopefully get a date with the girl.
