1 1. Intro

The story follows the life of Ast chrome. An orphan in the chrome tribe stuck in planet bloom-01.

In this universe 1000 years ago suddenly all the lifeforms were made aware of the presence of the Universal System. Nobody knows the details of the system as to why it exists and how it came into existence and what its end game is.

But one thing everyone recognises is that the system enables all to awaken their talent, connects many worlds and organises events with lucrative rewards.

The chrome clan was one of the clans that were eliminated in one such event and cursed to never be able to leave the huge orient forest. Their curse could only be broken by being subordinate to some other clan or person and serving them for life. Being a slave to another.

And yes this was now the accepted norm. With the advent of talent, everything was more magical than ever all fictional races were now roaming various worlds. People or creatures killing each other was normal now.

And the principal that this world works on was personal interest. Anything to gain power. End now justified the means.

ORIENT FOREST was a very huge forest land covering nearly 30% of the whole planet. Much of the forest was not much explored, as was the planet itself. Everyone was in search of power and planet bloom-01 was a part of a cluster of planets which was rather known to be a sort of prison for various clans and groups that were cursed and banished by the system.

Due to these reasons, there was not much attention given to these clusters of planets. Except for some newly awakened people who like to subjugate these clans and make them work or use them as cannon fodder. Some even treated them worse and fulfilled their fetish and some were just downright sadistic.

Ancestors of the chrome clan were warriors who participated in awakening and events from the very beginning 1000 years ago. They loved fighting their main weapon was either daggers or 'sickle and chain'. And this custom to train in such weapons continued till this date.

Ast was a single child. He lost his parents when he was 10 years old. Both his parents had awakened his talent of luck extraction, which was extremely rare but not that useful. They were both scholars rather than warriors and due to this, he was considered odd among his peers.

Ast's parents always told him to focus on knowledge and observation. They taught him how to be always calm and analyse any situation quickly with accuracy. This had made Ast a bit reserved and focused from a very early age.

After his parents passed away he had a difficult time adjusting to the tribe where he was taught how to fight and was even bullied for some months. Ast quickly adapted and now was one of the prominent fighters among his tribe's youngsters.
