After that day a couple weeks had gone by in a flash. And Lui Yang had been in this world for over a month. Aside from his original task he would occasionally explore the sect, relax or cultivate. There really wasn't much to do in the ancient world compared to the modern one he originated from. But all in all he would agree that he spent these past days peacefully.

The only bad thing about it would be Zhao Xui Shen. His love meter refused to increase. It stayed at one percent no matter what he tried.

'Such a stingy old man.'

[At first I thought he was a face-con. But now, it seems like that day was just a fluke.]

"Nope." Lui Yang denied. "He's definitely a face-con. Why else would all his disciples have beauty that was other worldly. It's just that he values his own features even more."

[Talk about self love.]

Lui Yang laughed haughtily. "You have no idea."

[Does this mean that in the end your plan failed.]

"Failed?" Lui Yang looked at the system as if it was an idiot. His expression showed his disbelief at it's stupidity. "Your slower then I thought. You really are a useless system."

"People like Zhao Xui Shen take time. Concurring his heart doesn't happen over night. There are other variables that need to fall into place first before I make my move. It may seem like nothing is happening right now on the outside, but under it all a lot is happening."

[How? The meter hasn't moved since.] The system was confused.

"It hasn't but Zhao Xui Shen behavior has. He's been keeping a close eye on me lately. Rather it be suspicion, curiosity, or just plain old scheming. He no longer disregards this body like he use to. It may not be on par with Zhang Tian's treatment but it's better than the originals." He calmly sat up from his bed and looked out the window. "Right now I'm playing the part of a disciple whose so deeply in love with their Master they'll do anything for them. Absolutely anything. I'm so head over heels that you can see nothing but heart eyes within my irises. I'm an easy target to manipulate. But what if all that had suddenly changed?"

[It would grab Zhao Xui Shen attention wouldn't it.]

"More then he'd know. I would get under his skin to the point I'd be all he thought about. What do you think will happen if Lui Yang who had always worshipped the grown he walked on suddenly no longer worshipped it? And that attention went to someone else, someone who was the exact opposite of him." Lui Yang got up and quickly got dress in his outer robes.

[Qin Shi Yun.]

Lui Yang smiled as he left his quarters. "Now your getting it."

Qin Shi Yun was one of the variables he'd be using to sway his master's heart. While he was at it there would be a chance where he could capture both of the Lord's hearts at the same time. He'd be killing two birds with on stone.

[Qin Shi Yun hasn't shown up since the first time we encountered him. It's already been a full month and he has yet to show himself.]

"Didn't I say it before. Plotting and waiting. He's lived for thousands of years, what's a month to him. One must have patience to get what they want. Right now I'm not worth much in his eyes so he's not going to barge into Zhao Xui Shen's territory and snatch me up."

[So that means he won't be fighting with Zhao Xui Shen over you.]

"Not head on he won't. Qi Shi Yun is mad and unpredictable but he is also smart, straight forward and direct. He picks his battles carefully because when he fights he fights to kill. If Zhao Xui Shen and Qin Shi Yun get into a physical fight it'll be a fight to the death, nothing else. There will be no mercy on neither side."

The system was silent for a bit as he processed the new information. He was truly amazed by Lui Yang's thinking and deduction skills. [Host your really amazing you know that.]

Lui Yang held his head up high and smiled. "Of course I know that, why wouldn't I? Your lucky that you bonded with me if not who else would be able to tolerate you."

System 197: (-_-) Insulted once again for the third time. *Why must host treat me like this :(*

"I'm kidding, just kidding.... calm down. Your also amazing and a great system."

'Just like a child.' Lui Yang inwardly chuckled at the system. It was so easy to pacify it with a few 'nice' words. He almost felt guilty for messing with it. Almost.

As Lui Yang walked through the sect he soon met up with his shimei Lei Jing, and began to interact with her. As always she was energetic and boastful. She welcomed him with a tight hug and big smiles. She was happy that everything was back to normal. Her shixiong still spoiled her and cared for her, he still hated Zhang Tian and master was treating him good. All was well.

Lui Yang didn't say much and just lightly rubbed her head as if he was petting a cute animal. Truth be told that's exactly how he saw her. He didn't see her as a person but more of a pet. A cute oblivious pet that wanted attention. "Jing Er what's wrong?"

Now that he thought about it. He really didn't take any of this seriously. He may complain here in there in a joking manner, but all in all he didn't care. Not even a bit.

As he smiled at Lei Jing his blue eyes shined in adoration for her but it was all false. An empty emotion that didn't really exist in reality.

"There's a loud sound of bells ringing off in the distance. It seems important so I came to come get you shixiong."

'Bells?'
