1 (1) Prologue

Everything was destroyed

What was a beautiful world, now there was almost nothing.

Few survivors, many corpses scattered across the land.

...

Many animals, corrupted by evil energy, became monsters. Monsters that attacked anyone. But they didn't do it out of hunger or self-defense,just to kill

Somewhere in this vast fallen world, there was a man, defeated, on the ground.

His hair was red, as was his skin. And his blood, smeared across the floor, looked like thick swamp water. This man was missing an arm, and one of his eyes was completely destroyed.

That man was Emmon.

Around this man, there were several other people.

Everyone looked at him with pity, with sadness.

-Brother...please...reconsider.

This was said by Vitalis, a short girl with white-green hair.

-No thank you.

-...but...why?

-Y'all can't kill me so I just need to wait.

Hearing this, a man steps forward. His face is identical to Emmon's, however his short white hair differs from him,and he wore long white clothes, with gray details.

- You're right, my brother. Killing you would make no difference, soon another God of War would arise.

-So...

-So if you won't redeem yourself, we'll seal you up. Forever.

-Wait, what?!

- That's exactly what it is - Another woman approaches

This woman was the epitome of beauty. Slender body, long black hair, and clothes like a saint.

-In these thousand years, we could create a spell to seal you forever, monster.

-Wait wait, you can't do that! Sadoc! My brother! Don't let them do this to me!

- They are not the ones who did this to you. It was you.

-No no, it can't be happening! I don't lose wars!

Clasping hands together, the two women, and several others around them, begin reciting a spell.

-{Nam vis huius terrae, quae in omnibus viventibus fluit.}

-{Animas eorum in corporibus servat...}

-Not! It's not possible! STOP! STOP!

An intense light covered Emmon's entire body, probably causing hellish pain. Gradually, his body was transformed into dust, and that same dust entered the ground, creating a strange symbol.

-STOP! PLEASE!!

-{Monstrum hoc in aeternum terrae claude!}

With a strong light, the place where Emmon was previously, now there was only blood and symbols. Peace has finally returned.

That's what they thought.

-Finally...we can start.

A gigantic hall, all decorated with colored stained glass and gold details,And in the center of that hall, there was an altar made of pure gold. The man who said those words was facing this altar.

No, church would be an offense to this location. This was the Basilica of Lily,one of the most important religious buildings in the world.

Lily, the Goddess of Kindness, she was the one who created and protected humans from the beginning of everything. And they, being one of the most powerful races in the world, built this giant temple in their honor.

Humans were a rich and successful people, but not happy.

This is because of the demons.

Demons were the race created by the God of wars. Every year, they invaded villages with their armies, killed thousands of soldiers, and retreated.

No matter how damaged they left their army, the next year, the demons were recovered again.

Demons didn't do this to dominate the world, or conquer territory. It was just the purest bloodlust.

So...

The races decided that this could not happen anymore.

However, facing all the demons in a war would only make them stronger. They needed to defeat them without war.

They needed to defeat their king.

And for that, all ambassadors from all kingdoms, gathered here today, in the Basilica of Lily, to perform a ritual.

After years of magical research, mages have discovered something...

Other worlds.

All living beings in this world were vulnerable to Demons, after all, the energy of this land flowed through everyone.

But not for people from another world.

They would have the power to face demons.

-Papa Ignos...Please begin

Who says this was a man with brown hair, about 30 years old. He was probably a king, as he had a giant crown on his head.

He was also in front of the altar, along with the royal family and the ambassadors. Behind them were 50 people in priestly clothes, young and old, men and women.

-Yes...King Leonhart...

Addressing these 50 people, the pope begins a loud speech.

-Dear brothers present here, today, today is the day, in which our magnificent Goddess will bring peace to this world. I thank everyone who is about to make the greatest sacrifice of their lives for the greater good.

Everyone puts their hands together, and starts to pray... No, to be more specific, some kind of spell.

Also directed to the people, now the King is speaking.

-Today, we will bring the legendary heroes, who will finally defeat the cursed Demon King, and end this cycle of deaths. Today, we are writing a new page in the history of all races!

-{{{{Hodie, in hoc momento, deae nostrae fideles...}}}}

Whispers were heard from everyone there.

All these people were the highest class priests and mages.

A yellow glow was beginning to emerge from their bodies...holy energy.

This energy was the only thing that allowed humans to fight demons, after all, it was the only type of magic that actually did any damage.

And today, all those 50 people would totally lose their ability to use magic. That golden glow gradually came out of their bodies, and was absorbed by the altar.

Little by little, several people fainted from fatigue, and soldiers removed them from the scene.

Until there's nobody left.

The altar shone like the sun itself, illuminating the entire hall.

It was night, and anyone looking in from outside might think it was the light of the Goddess herself inside the church.

-{O mea Dea, hodie pro incredibili tua potestate utimur!...}

Facing the shining altar, the Pope began to recite the final spell.

-{Da heroas, qui hunc mundum servabunt!}

...

Nothing else could be seen.

Just white, in everyone's eyes and minds.

An explosion of energy so strong to cross worlds.

...

After a few seconds that felt like hours, the bright light calmed down.

There, instead of the golden altar, were 4 people,three of them with identical clothes

Their appearances were of teenagers.

A blonde girl, not very tall, with her long hair down.

A tall girl with short hair.

A boy with short brown hair.

And the last one was a man with long hair tied in a ponytail. His appearance was strange, unlike the other 4, he wore long black clothes, a kind of hood.

But nobody there cared. After all, they were facing the four legendary heroes.

All there knelt down, the king, the queen, their children and the ambassadors of each kingdom

Even the Pope knelt down as he desperately pleaded.

-Please, legendary heroes! Save our world!

The place was silent for a few seconds, until the black haired man spoke...

...

...

-No fucking way.
