Prologue

Dr. Annette Weiner, a forensic anthropologist, she's twenty-three-years-old, African American, and who is 5'9" in height, she's examining a corpse that is almost completely decomposed. She and her partner, FBI Special Agent Amane, who is Korean, she's twenty-six-years-old, and 5'0" in height. They both have been called in on this case. The victim is Native American, female, in her early to mid-twenties. She was found in a riverbank and her remains were scattered everywhere along the bank. But, with patience, dedication, and determination of finding out what happened to her. Not to mention, a LOT of teamwork, the victim was a complete body once again. "What do we have, Annette?" asked Agent Amane. "Multiple broken ribs, blunt force trauma to the right-side of the skull, multiple injuries upon both arms, and left leg, but her right leg has been fractured. Also, there are what appears to be defensive wounds on her left hand, but it's too early to tell as of right now. The neck has been crushed indicating that she had been strangled, which is the cause of death." remarked Dr. Weiner. "Is it possible that the victim was tortured or abused by the assailant?" Agent Amane looked at Dr. Annette's light brown eyes as she asked this question. Dr. Annette Weiner looked at the ground where the victim is lying and answered, "I am unsure at this time, but I need these remains at the lab for further examination." She looked back at Amane after she replied. Agent Amane nodded and said, "Understood. I'll have her sent there immediately." Dr. Weiner smiled at Special Agent Amane, reassured them that they were going to do everything that they could to capture whomever did this and replied, "Thank you, Amane. I will see you back at the lab."
