Chapter 81: Prelude To Wall-Crawler
(Roman: POV)
After I put enough distance between Tony's mansion and myself I opened up a portal using Blinks powers and arrived in my New Jersey apartment.
Landing I closed the portal I created.
I then activated the magic in my suit and sent it back to its display case in my personal lab in the Command Center.
After doing so I went to get some dinner.
Since trolling both Tony and Fury gave me quite the appetite.
It also made me incredibly happy.
I think I've become addicted to the feeling.
Oh well.
Too late to turn back now.

(3rd Person: POV)
After that night when Roman, as Sentinel, met with Fury and Tony several events took place.
First, Tony contacted Roman in his civilian life. Having been interested in the world-wide clean energy project Roman in his superhero persona mentioned to him.
A fact which made Roman extremely happy.
Since it let him build at least a working relationship with Tony in his civilian life.
It also helped Roman take the first step in his plans toward turning Earth into more than it was.
Especially if he was going to help it enter the galactic stage.
No, that's wrong.
Rather Roman was trying to get Earth ready for when it entered the galactic stage.
A moment that was fastly approaching with the Chitauri invasion on the horizon.
But even discounting them Earth was already on the radar of several intergalactic powers.
The Kree and the Skrull, Asgard, and Roman was reasonably certain the Shi'ar Empire had eyes and ears on Earth as well.
So really Roman was just making sure Earth and its inhabitants didn't get decimated by an alien invasion.
Especially since he and the other heroes that have, or will arise, to protect them.
Of course that is a doomsday scenario, but Roman has always been a follower of the phrase: Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
So he is definitely going to prepare for the absolute fucking worst.
All so he won't get caught with his pants down should it come to pass.
Second, SHIELD has stepped up its survelliance efforts not only on Sentinel, but Roman Maxwell, Abstergo Industries, and any of the heroes that worked for the company.
Though that didn't bother Roman in the slightest.
Since he was easily leading SHIELD, and by extension Hydra, around by the nose.
Which Roman would do until he felt it was time to crush Hydra into absolute dust.
For he's going to go scorched Earth on that monster. That way no heads or any part of it will be able to regrow.
Already over the years Roman has been gathering evidence against Hydra. From the location of their bases, to all the dirty little secrets of their highest ranking members.
Then when he wants to he'll make it all fall down.
Third, Roman had the Guardians become more active.
Now he hasn't revealed their existence to the world yet, though he felt that time was fast approaching, but he has been having the members speak on public issues.
Namely the growing superhero community, and about metahuman awareness.
Roman himself as Sentinel has been a guest on several talkshows and spoken in those matters.
The three most prominent being the Oprah Winfrey Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Conan.
Roman of course getting pictures with all three of the show hosts.
Moving on.
Thanks to Roman, and the other Guardians efforts, people were discussing the matter of superheroes and metahumans across a broad audience.
The awareness on the matters were growing.
Which of course brought out the bigots and others related to them, but Roman and his allies quietly dealt with the most radical of them.
Well namely Red Hood dealt with them.
This being the fourth matter.
Red Hoods reputation had been on the rise. In both the criminal underworld, and as a mercenary who would even work for governments if the price was right.
He had even taken a few jobs from SHIELD.
Though the agency itself would deny this of course.
Not that it mattered to Roman.
Fifth, Roman has had Abstergo Industries expand into the gaming and entertainment industry.
He founded a new company which she named Stan Lee Entertainment.
After the god of Marvel himself Stan Lee.
Excelsior!
But back to the point.
Already Stan Lee Entertainment has become a household name.
They produced the first fully immersive VR-game console known as the Animus.
While also producing very well received games.
Two of their games being Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail.
Which were Stan Lee Entertainment most popular games.
Given all the cute girls and handsome guys featured in both.
There also happened to be a huge femals following for the trap characters in Genshin Impact, like Venti.
Which Roman decided not to touch with a ten foot pole.
So long as the games were making money, and he could enjoy two of his favorite game waifu's Jean Gunnhildr from Genshin Impact and Black Swan from Honkai Star Rail, he didn't care.
Moving on.
Nothing else of especially of note happened.
But with all that had taken place a year and a half passed before Roman realized it and it was already 2010.
A year that would bring many changes.

[Forest Hills, Queens, New York City]
*Beep Beep Beep*
"Ugh." A young man groaned.
Reaching out from under his covers he shut off his alarm clock.
He then flipped the covers off himself and sat up in his bed.
Revealing a young man with brown hair and brown eyes, who was 15 years old.
The name of this young man is Peter Benjamin Parker.

Yawning Peter stretched his arms up into the air and worked to fully wake up.
Then seconds after he did someone called out for him.
"Peter are you up?" A female voice shouted.
"Yes aunt May!" Peter shouted back. "I'll be down in a moment." He said.
"Okay!" Aunt May shouted back.
Once she did Peter stood up ans got ready for the day.
After taking care of his hygiene, and dressing, he headed downstairs.
Where two people were seated in the dining room at the dining table.
Benjamin and May Parker.
Peters uncle and aunt.
The former who he is also named after.

Putting down the paper he was reading, as Peter took a seat at the table, Ben turned his gaze in his nephews direction.
"So sport, ready for the field trip to Oscorp today?" Ben asked Peter.
"Yes uncle Ben." Peter answered. Before digging into his breakfast.
"Are you sure?" May asked. "There's nothing you need? Money? Lunch?"
"May, leave the boy alone. He said he's fine." Ben suddenly spoke up.
Peter gave a slight nod to his uncle Ben as thanks.
"Alright. Alright." May said.
As she did so Peter finished up his breakfast.
"Thanks as always aunt May. It was delicious. Now bye." Peter spoke.
He then left the dining room table, went up to his room, grabbed his backpack, and then headed out the door.
Peter having no clue today his life would forever be changed.
