62 Chapter 61: A Kiss & A Massacre
A/N: Hey readers. Just wanted to let you know that soon I'll be putting out another superhero story.
An SI fic where a person is reborn into a world that is a combination of the DC Animated Universe and the Young Justice universe with the powers and appearance of Sunspot (Roberto Da Costa) from Marvel.
Give me some ideas for love interests.
I'll let you know when I post the first chapter.
Now then, onto this chapter.

Starfire.
Thee Starfire.
One of the most recognizable comic book characters ever created. One of my comic book crushes from my previous life, who I am not ashamed to admit I saw from the rule 34 perspective numerous times, is now flesh and blood right before my eyes.
On the one hand I am happy. Since this means I have a chance to make this orange-skin Amazon mine.
But on the other hand I am freaking out.
Since this is supposed to be a Marvel universe and yet there is a fuckng DC character right in front of me.
What the hell?!
Starfire being here opens up so many new possibilities it's not even funny.
Many of them bad.
Since her very existence creates the chance that DC villains might exist in this universe.
At least in space, since I haven't heard about any here on Earth.
But after this mission is complete I am definitely going to check.
Because I already have a lot of shit on my plate dealing with the likes of Thanos, Apocalypse, Hydra, etc.
I really do not want to have to fucking worry about threats along the likes of Mongul, any of the evil Lantern corps, or heaven forbid Darkseid.
But like I said a moment ago that is for later. Right now all my focus is on completing this mission.
"A human girl?" Piotr mused.
"No. Her smell is different. Strange." Laura spoke.
"Right." I agreed. "Though it does look like she's from a species that closely resembles humans. Still, let's proceed with caution. On me." I spoke.
I then started approaching Starfire. Piotr and Laura following behind me. The former in his osmium form and the latter with the claws on both her hands out.
Meanwhile I was primed and ready to blast Starfire with energy, should she turn hostile.
Since although I know of her I don't know her.
There's no telling what kind of person this Starfire is. Which is why I'm being safe rather than sorry.
As we got closer to her Starfire looked in my groups direction.
When she did I scanned her surface thoughts using my telepathy.
Detecting confusion, curiosity, and vigilance.
Which is about what I expected I would sense from her, given the current situation.
Reaching Starfire I stared into her eyes.
'Are you okay?' I telepathically asked Starfire.
Since I doubt she knows or speaks any of Earhs languages.
'I am, unharmed, mostly.' A female voice telepathically replied.
'I see. Well then, I welcome you to Earth.' I spoke.
I then reached out my left hand to Starfire.
Who then stared at it for a few seconds before taking hold of it.
Once this happened I helped Starfire to her feet.
*Chu!*
Then immediately after I did she pulled me into a passionate kiss.
With tongue.
I mean I expected this to happen, given my foreknowledge, but I'm glad it did.
Going with the flow I took control of the kiss.
"Mhmm!!"
Before Starfire realized it my kissing skills had her moaning in pleasure.
Exactly as I planned.
We continued our make out session for another minute before I broke our kiss.
When we did I noticed Piotr and Laura staring at the two of us out of the corner of my eye.
The former with his mouth agape, a shocked expression on her face. While the latter is frowning.
'Intereresting.' I thought.
"Sentinel are you okay?" Piotr asked in worry.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Don't worry." I replied. "Our female alien friend here didn't do anything to me."
"Truly, I did not." Starfire spoke up on perfect English. "I simply engaged in osculation with your friend so that I could learn your people's language. Also greetings. My name is Koriand'r. Which in your language translates to Starfire." She explained.
"Well it's nice to meet you Starfire. My name is Roman. The big guy is Piotr and the cute tiny one is Laura." I explained. "And if you'll follow me I'll introduce you to the others."
Starfire nodded.
Once she did so the four of us made our way back over to Sage and James.
I then explained what had transpired between my group and Starfire.
"Oh, so cool." Sage said, stars in her eyes as she looked at Starfire. "So you're like a biological universal translator." She spoke.
Making a Star Trek reference.
Since she is a fan.

"Tell me, do all of your species have the same ability or is it just specific to you?" Sage asked.
"All my people possess the power. Among a few others." Starfire replied.
Then right after she did everyone's earpiece came to life, filled with the voice of ADAM.
"Everyone, satellite scans have just detected multiple craft of unknown origin on a direct course for your current position." He urgently informed us.
"Look alive people. We've got incoming." I spoke.
No sooner after I said that my enhanced hearing picked up sounds getting closer to our position from the west.
Turning my head in that direction I soon saw five spacecraft of the same design flying straight towards our groups position in a V-shaped formation.
The lead ship accelerating forward past the others it fired off twin laser shots at us.
Not wasting a second I ran forward towards one of the beams and jumped in its path, absorbing it into my body.
As for the other shot Piotr stepped forward and tanked it.
"Piotr, you good?" I called out to him.
"Da." He replied.
"Alright." I said. "I'm heading up to take down those ships. Be ready!" I ordered.
I then coated my entire body in solar energy and concentrated it into my feet to propel myself into the sky.
Starfire deciding to follow right behind me.
"Allow me to assist you Roman." She spoke.
"Sure." I replied.
A second after I did all of the starships started converging on mine and Starfire's position.
Firing their lasers at us as they did.
Weaving through the air Starfire and I dodged the laser blasts with ease.
Then when we saw our chance we flew out of the ships formation and got behind them.
When we did I fired off concentrated blasts of solar energy from fists at the back of one of the ships.
Meanwhile Starfire did the same, firing off her iconic star bolts.
Our attacks hit the two ships we were aiming at. This in turn caused both of them to start smoking and then eventually crash into the ground.
When they did the team on the ground began approaching them.
Letting them handle their business I turned my focus back to the other three ships.
When I did I saw they were vectoring on a flight path back into space.
"Trying to escape. Oh no. Not on my watch." I spoke.
Increasing the solar energy output at my feet I increased my speed and rocketed past the three starships remaining in the air.
Then once I was past them I turned around, held out both of my hands on their direction, then fire off powerful concussive blasts of solar energy at them.
Having no time to dodge all three ships were hit by my concussive blasts and blew up in fiery explosions that lit up the night sky like fireworks.
"Beautiful." I said. Feeling extremely proud at my work.
Flying to me Starfire looked at me with a gleeful expression on her face. "Roman, you are powerful."
"I know." I replied. "But we can discuss my awesomeness later. Right now let's back to the others. They might need our help." I spoke.
Starfire nodded.
Once she did we flew towards their direction.
As the two of us arrived on the scene we saw a massacre taking place.
My team being the ones doing the massacring.
Their targets, psions.
Yet another alien species from DC comics.
Which seeing unnerves me even further.
Oh I really hope this isn't a Marvel DC crossover world.
Truly.
"It seems they do not need assistance." Starfire spoke.
"Yep. Right you are." I replied.
Even so I kept an eye on the entire situation. Ready to step in should the need arise.
It didn't.
The others finished massacring the psions with ease.
Once they did Starfire and I landed on the ground next to them.
I then deactivated my powers.
Once I did I contacted ADAM using my earpiece. "ADAM activate foreigner protocols. You've got incoming." I explained.
The foreigner protocols are a set of procedures ADAM is set to enact when we bring alien life forms and or artifacts back to the Command Center.
Which I am about to do right now.
"Understood Roman. Starting the activation of the foreigner protocols now." ADAM replied.
"Good." I replied.
I then signed off.
Once I did I used Blinks powers and opened up several portals under the psions spaceships, any debris from them, and then their bodies.
Sending them all to the vehicle/hangar bay of the Command Center.
Once that was done I closed the portals up.
I then opened up another one in front of me, leading to the vehicle/hangar bay.
"Sage take the others and head back to the Command Center. Including our new orange-skinned friend."
"Sure bro, but what are you going to be doing?" Sage spoke.
"Making sure our mess has been thuroughly cleaned up." I replied.
Since I want no trace that us, Starfire, or the psions we're ever here.
I didn't want SHIELD or anyone else getting their handd on such information.
Understood." Sage replied.
She and fhe others then headed back to the Command Center through the portal.
Starfire following behind them.
Once they were all through I closed the Portal and then began the cleanup work.
Wondering how Emma was doing as I did.
I hope she's all right.
