Labyrinth 3
I woke up a day later the flight was rougher and more rushed than all previous times “ good afternoon” Brice chirped “what was that ?” I asked “I don't know it some kind of spell I don't know its effects nor do I know who cast it “ Brice replied.
I dint question her any further. our journey was almost reaching an end we were flying over the ocean but seriously the only thing worse than fainting while crossing the wind barriers is the sun! Why is it so Hot!!
Well, my ranting aside Chun enjoyed the weather, but I should probably enjoy it too after all there was a good chance I might never see it again. we landed in front of the labyrinth around sunset. The sand was wet with salty water, there were many beasts flying back home, water-born beasts were skipping across over the water as the sun finally set and stars were showing up from here I could see the coastline of olian the light from the coast is very tiny but still visible, and I was blaming Al for not informing family.
As we entered the labyrinth, as much as I wanted to make it sound cool I can't, I mean what was I thinking this is a rotting mess! The labyrinth smells like death as soon as we opened the door the ground was filled with guie moss and rotting bodies of plants and something else I dint know what it was or what they were….these things
Bones, piles, and piles of bones, but where are they from?
This labyrinth is more than a thousand years old and where are all coming from ? my god I was scared to enter but I am already in too deep as I was monologuing the door we entered from was barely visible “are you scared wil” Brice asked me “ aren't you!?” I asked
“ We are already dead, you and Chun are the only ones in danger ya know” makes sense. “Speaking of Chun, where is she?” I asked “there” Brice pointed to Chun who was sitting in a basket carried by one of the ghosts
Wow, this is Chun the [self-proclaimed] strongest and bravest flight lion out there I mean she’s hiding in a basket!
On second thought I want to hide in a basket.
I heard something creepy but familiar, familiar !? Why is it familiar? Where have I heard this before ? “ wi...wi...wi;...wil...wiliam...WILLIAM !!”
“wha !” I didn't know what was happening “ what happened!?” I asked “Illusion! illusion” Brice said in an alarming state “ why do you look alarmed?” I asked her “ YOU TELL ME ! what were you seeing ?” she asked me
“I..I don't know some whispering? talking? A message probably not, seemed familiar though” she blinked at me like she was clueless or it could also mean that I was giving a horrible explanation
“ In just one hour inside the labyrinth and you already got caught in a trap, “ Chun said, “ 1 hour ago ?”
“You could lose time here. don't worry dash is keeping time” I was very impressed by Brice,s team they have calculated time and mapped the labyrinth.
We have been in the labyrinth for days, 3 days according to Brice,s team but it felt like weeks to me there were many traps in the labyrinth of course I was the one to trigger them all “You have the most inefficient way to identify traps” Brice said smirkingly
“ Is it just me or is it getting hotter ?” I asked while I want to take off my cloak cant because its enchantment is the reason I am even alive
“ now that you mention it, it is weird that the labyrinth is this hot” dash commented, “ maybe it's because of a trap !” I exclaimed so far we have all sorts of traps arrows, spikes, falling roofs, moths poison, falling floors so it wasn't a stretch to think that there is a fire or heat-related trap “ plausible wil this could be dangerous get on someone's back!” Brice ordered
“Why!” I questioned her “ cus if you don't you will 99% trigger the trap somehow” she wasn't joking when she said that I got on sam's back. We successfully got to the center chamber but little did we know that our 5-day trip was the beginning of something terrible.
