He tried to change the subject. “What else are we gonna do tomorrow?”

“A lot of walking. I’ll spend a little time online in a bit, figure out an agenda for us.”

“So long as we don’t have to go in any more of them historic houses like back home. Those are boring.” J.T. rooted through the foil wrappers on the table, not exactly hungry still, but willing to nibble at whatever might be left. They’d cleaned the plates, though, so he poured himself another Coke and helped Armand clean up. “Can we see the Hollywood sign? Do they let people go look at it?”

“I’ll show you all the best tourist spots, I promise. Right now, I’m dead on my feet. I’m going to take a shower, toss in a load of clothes, and turn in early.”
