Re:Living The Peaceful Life Inside A Book

Ji RongXue woke up to find herself suddenly transmigrated inside a book that she read in her previous life. Suddenly finding herself in a world that was still peaceful, sky still clear blue and the people still bustling around with no sights of those horrifying rotting monsters, Ji RongXue felt that it wasn't so bad even if she got transmigrated into the body of a cannon fodder. Her role in the book was of a cannon fodder female character who was a queen of seeking death. She even had congenital heart disease which she used as a weapon to attract the male lead's attention. Heck, it wasn't her heart that was sick, it was her brain that was sick to the point she became stupid! With the labels of 'the male lead's little pursuer' and 'a stupid cannon fodder' pasted on her face, Ji RongXue decided to first tear off these labels and clear her bad reputation then she would avoid the main characters to have a peaceful life. But wait...who is this awkward tsundere in front of her with such an aggrieved look on his face? Why is this lil' puppy always sticking to her? And why does the usually gentle 'big brother' second male lead have such a scary smile on his face? Damn it! My dear female lead! You are supposed to hate me! Not become my fan! Ji RuanYu: Who dares to talk bad about my little sister?! Come and fight me! Ji RuanMing: Heh, dare to bully my sister? Assistant Zhang, the weather is cold, I want them bankrupt by tomorrow morning. Mo JinChen: Why are you always ignoring me?! A certain someone also surnamed Mo, with a straight face: Because she only has me in her eyes. Ji RongXue:..... Why can't you all just leave me alone?! This ill heart can't handle all this frustration! *** -The cover is made by yours truly. -Just a little fluffy story might have cliché plots and plot holes uwu -It might be exaggerated in some ways :3

Bai Shen Ting

BLURB: Excerpt: Bai Shen Ting opened her eyes and spat out blood, it felt like years but she knew she had only been here for hours. Flashbacks of how she grew up as the favored daughter of the Prime Minister went through her mind, after undergoing the tortures bestowed upon her by her former friend, her heart once again went cold. How naive of her to think she could appeal to her guilt of the way she had treated her and her family. Blood was dripping from every part of her body, even her private part, the torturer had branded her down private areas after mutilating her. She smiled in mockery but winced from the pain on her face. All of the guards took turns with her not minding the state of her body. They all wanted to see what the woman who almost became the Queen tasted like. She was covered in blood and white suspicious fluid seeping from the side of her mouth and her nether regions with her hands being chained up separately to a corner of the thatched house. Footsteps were approaching and she winced but straightened to see who it was and burst in a wide smile regardless how painful it was. "Your highness the Queen, fancy seeing you here,I seem to remember you were bedridden but recuperating from your poison, the physician is really a divine one to make it possible to heal you quickly" her very tone was dripping with sarcasm. ************************************************ “Bai Shen Ting, greet your parents in the underworld for me” “Shen Li Hua I curse you!, with the pain you've caused me, I curse you and your son to never bear fruit. I curse this kingdom to fall to ruin and shame whilst you're still in power. You'll be torn apart by the masses and suffer tenfold what I already suffered” Shen Li Hua laughed and left. “I don't know who exists anymore” She coughed loudly and long . “Who's there? Who's listening, I beg of you in exchange I sacrifice this body and this soul to you, give me one more chance.” “I won't repeat the same mistakes I did…”

Prince eli

My life IT is with a kind of fear that I begin to write the history of my life. I have, as it were, a superstitious hesitation in lifting the veil that clings about my childhood like a golden mist. The task of writing an autobiography is a difficult one. When I try to classify my earliest impressions, I find that fact and fancy look alike across the years that link the past with the present. The woman paints the child's experiences in her own fantasy. A few impressions stand out vividly from the first years of my life; but "the shadows of the prison-house are on the rest." Besides, many of the joys and sorrows of childhood have lost their poignancy; and many incidents of vital importance in my early education have been forgotten in the excitement of great discoveries. In order, therefore, not to be tedious I shall try to present in a series of sketches only the episodes that seem to me to be the most interesting and important. I was born on June 27, 1880, in Tuscumbia, a little town of northern Alabama. The family on my father's side is descended from Caspar Keller, a native of Switzerland, who settled in Maryland. One of my Swiss ancestors was the first teacher of the deaf in Zurich and wrote a book on the subject of their education–rather a singular coincidence; though it is true that there is no king who has not had a slave among his ancestors, and no slave who has not had a king among his. My grandfather, Caspar Keller's son, "entered" large tracts of land in Alabama and finally settled there. I have been told that once a year he went from Tuscumbia to Philadelphia on horseback to purchase supplies for the plantation, and my aunt has in her possession many of the letters to his family, which give charming and vivid accounts of these trips. My Grandmother Keller was a daughter of one of Lafayette's aides, Alexander Moore, and granddaughter of Alexander Spotswood, an early Colonial Governor of Virginia. She was also second cousin to Robert E. Lee. My father, Arthur H. Keller, was a captain in the Confederate Army, and my mother, Kate Adams, was his second wife and many years younger. Her grandfather, Benjamin Adams, married Susanna E. Goodhue, and lived in Newbury, Massachusetts, for many years. Their son, Charles Adams, was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and moved to Helena, Arkansas. When the Civil War broke out, he fought on the side of the South and became a brigadier-general. He married Lucy Helen Everett, who belonged to the same family of Everetts as Edward Everett and Dr. Edward Everett Hale. After the war was over the family moved to Memphis, Tennessee. I lived, up to the time of the illness that deprived me of my sight and hearing, in a tiny house consisting of a large square room and a small one, in which the servant slept. It is a custom in the South to build a small house near the homestead as an annex to be used on occasion. Such a house my father built after the Civil War, and when he married my mother they went to live in it. It was completely covered with vines, climbing roses and honeysuckles. From the garden it looked like an arbour. The little porch was hidden from view by a screen of yellow roses and Southern smilax. It was the favourite haunt of humming-birds and bees.
