PORTIA LEFT

They spent many days together, the times they spent together were evergreen but now it was time for Portia to leave, kate weeped alot when Portia was leaving.

Both holding one another's hand, tears rolling down from their cheeks. They hugged each other and for the last time they saw each other and then Portia left.

Now days became harder for kate. It was an end of the summer vacation too. She was now going to standard 8th But she did not feel comfortable there.

Because she did not have any of her 7 classmates. All her friends were in other sections. And the class in which she was there was a failure's class who were very rude , who show offed alot, dominating and even cheap.

They used to complain to teacher for every small reason. Kate's teacher gave her place in 3 rd bench , kate never liked to sit in between, but on her teacher's strict note she had to adjust and sit in between them.

But the girls between whom she sat were very cruel and cunning in nature. They always used to fight with kate used to falsify teacher. And then the teacher would scold kate near the whole class. She felt to be very low.

The girls who sat beside her were Merissa and Julia . One day what Merissa did was - It was an annual event in the school every one was preparing for it except for the non participants.

Merissa was a non participant, and kate participated for a speech so for practice she had to go down when ever they called. So most of the classes she did not attend because of practice.

Merissa went to their class teacher and said her that kate was bunking all the classes hearing this teacher was very angry with kate.

When Kate came she said her that -"Why are you bunking all the classes." She said in an angry voice. Kate replied saying-" No mam, I participated in annual event so teacher said s calling me for practice you can ask to her mam. I'm really not lying mam . "

So her teacher asked about it to other teacher so she said that kate was a punctual and a kind girl she practices and then goes to her class.

So her class teacher went and gave a tight slap to Merissa. Kate was very happy to know that she was guilty and then teacher changed her place . She got a corner seat in the the first bench.
