HURT KATE

During Kate's school times she had her bestie-Rachel,with whom she shared everything except for house matters. Once when she visited the market there she saw a packet of blades she asked the shopkeeper - "Excuse me sir how much is this packet for?" the man replied just 0.14 dollars (ten rupees) dear. Kate gave him money and hid the packet of blades in her pocket

That morning mom, Anna scolded her and even slapped her for fighting with Carol. Kate was very angry because she knew that she did not commit any mistake so, she carried the packet of blades in her school bag. After reaching the school during the snacks break she went to washroom with Rachel and then Kate went to toilet and cut a very small part of her finger

She did not feel pain because it was a very small cut but Rachel insisted her and took her to the school sick room there nurse put antiseptic to her.One day during summer vacation when everyone's bags had to be dry cleaned Anna was taking out all their old books from their bags. in lobby's bag she found papers and waste pens.

In Carol's bag she found pencil scrap. In Daniel's bag she found junk food- chips and biscuit crumbs. But in Kate's bag Anna found a packet of blades. She was horrified to see it. At that time Kate was not home she went to the market.

When she arrived back home mom asked her about the blades so she did not say anything about it. She just kept quite. Anna didn't take it seriously and went back to work. But she scolded her as usually.She took the blades and kept it with her in her bag.

Kate and her sisters used to go to tuitions in their cousins house. During evening, mom asked Carol to get her spectacles from the room.when Carol was taking the spectacles with her, it slip from her and fell on the ground and broke into pieces.

Mom was calling out Carol so she hid it under the book and said her that she couldn't find it. She herself got up and went in search of the spectacles. She found it under the book broken into pieces. She became red and rage with anger and called all four sisters and asked them that who broke it.

Everyone said that they didn't break it so now mom took Oliver's belt and bet everyone, so Carol said that she saw Kate playing with her glasses. Anna kept beating Kate even when it was not her mistake poor one she felt it to be very painful. The next day she decided to cut her palm.

But she did not have blades with her she decided to take it from mom's bag. She took and kept it in her bag. They used to go school through school van and there she slowly cut her palm. It was bleeding so much all her van mates after reaching the school told it to their teacher.

And then the teacher sent her to sick room. There the nurse asked her how she hurt herself. She said that it was cut with the window pane. And then she put antiseptic to her.
