1 Chapter 1- A bit of history

It has been a 100 years since the death of the greatest mind mankind produced . Rick Sanchez , was the most innovative and brilliant human to date even hundred years later no one has managed to surpass his extraordinary and sometimes magical inventions.

But before you ask questions . Yes ,The Rick Sanchez I just mentioned is one of THE Ricks from the show Rick and Morty back on earth. Just not Rick C-137 who was the focus of the show.

Unlike Rick C-137 This Rick Sanchez in my current reality was apparently considered one of the kindest and philanthropic men to ever live. Also unlike most other Ricks in the multiverse he didn't join the council of Ricks and instead decided to share his inventions with rest of the humanity. Apart from this the achievements of this Rick include ending the world hunger crisis , fixing the fucked up environment and he even ended all the wars of his time going on earth by forcing antagonizing nations to sign peace agreements which was upheld by world governments under the threat of violence by Rick. Because of these reasons and many more Rick was very well regarded and revered through out the world that he was considered a living God by the masses of people across the globe.

‌Rick wasn't the only one who was different in this universe though. Unfortunately Jerry Smith husband of Rick's daughter Bethany Smith née Sanchez was different in this universe too. He was recorded in history books to be a violent and terrible man who murdered Rick in a fit of rage using one of Ricks antimatter guns . Apparently it was due to his failing marriage with Ricks daughter which he blamed on Rick.

That was how Jerry Smith became the most hated man to ever live. Even Hitler who committed numerous atrocities in the second world war was hated less than the unemployed Jerry Smith. His infamy became so great that an international vote was taken by the U.N for his role in the murder of Rick Sanchez. It was unanimously decided by the vote held by nations that he was to be executed for his crimes. For this decision the world celebrated for weeks until Jerry's execution date. He was hated so much by the world and his family that in a recorded interview of his daughter Summer Smith, she stated that she was glad her father was getting executed for murdering her beloved grandpa Rick.

After Jerry Smith's 'jury trail' and subsequent execution which was broadcasted across the whole world became the highest veiwed event of the previous century. After months of mourning for the loss of Rick Sanchez the greatest scientist to ever live, unrest around the world started picking up again.

What happens when most of the current peace agreements and ceasefires around the world are built upon and upheld by a single individual and when this individual is unexpectedly murdered leaving many old unresolved conflicts around the world. According to the history books the world goes to shit.

That was how the third world war began . Like the world wars before the casualties were too many . However , during this particular world war there were nuclear weapons in play along with many newly introduced deadly weapons courtesy of Rick Sanchez. So after complete decimation of a continent on earth and casualties ranging in the billions the war was over along with a rise of a new world government.

Then came an era of peace and innovation never seen before in history. Many new inventions were introduced to the general public. Based on technology Rick shared during his life the world became a much better place. Humans colonized and terraformed all habitable zones in the solar system and formed cordial relationships and alliances with different alien races around the solar system and across the galaxy . Followed by humans developing a galactic civilization which is now where we are at a 100 years later.

So enough history , this was where I came in to this universe.
