Chapter 01

An eternity.

"Kreaak ... !!"

The sound of the door made of steel when it opened. Not loud, just a little harder because of the quiet atmosphere. In this former old factory, there lives a 17-year-old young man named Taka. He lives alone there.

Takahashi Hiro, the young man's name. He was accustomed to loneliness, and the coldness of solitude.

"Ah, I'm tired."

He then laid his body on a matted mat. Today's lesson is quite difficult for him. And soon, he closed his eyes so he could reach the dreamland.

"Sir, have you fallen asleep?"

Someone suddenly entered and sat cross-legged next to Taka. That is Mrs. Rita, the library owner in Nagoya.

"Not yet, what's up?"

Taka then got up and turned his body to face that middle-aged woman. Which immediately bent her body.

"Shiro asked me to give this to you, sir."

A letter then she gave to the young man.

"What is this?"

"It's a transfer letter. Ms. Ryuji is asking you to move to Tokyo. And, Shiro allows it."

"They didn't ask what I thought?"

"They are sure, you will agree."

"Hmm, I see. All right, take care of the rest. But, not now."

"Yes, as you wish, sir!"

The woman then hurried to her feet and left. Taka then lay back and closed his eyes.

Outside the former factory, two black sedans were waiting for that woman. And there were some men in black suits standing there waiting for her.

"Ma'am!"

In unison, they bent their bodies and greeted the woman as she emerged from the darkness.

"Sssh! Watch your mouths. Don't let Mr. Taka be angry."

"Yes, ma'am."

Then, the two cars hurried to leave the place along with the drizzle that began to come.

One month later, Tokyo. Taka came to his new school in his old school uniform. This is his first day there.

The school student was curious about him. They kept watching him because of his school uniform. However, Taka did not care. He continued to walk through the gates of the school.

Then, he paused while in the schoolyard. His face then smiled, and he continued on.

"Hey! Who are you?"

The school guards immediately chased after Taka when he saw him. The man thought, Taka was not a student at the school. Taka then stopped.

"Ah, I just came in today."

Taka answered casually without turning his head. And again walked away from that place.

The first day was normal. No problem. And, he felt something new here. Which makes it able to eliminate boredom a little.

"Ah, Kendo? Hmm, interesting."

Taka then headed to a place where the children were learning to use bamboo swords. He then took one of the Shinai (bamboo swords) from the storage box.
