It had been a while since then but Jane had no problem bringing up what she once felt when she didn't know Aurora well.

"No. Most likely he did it not to make me feel weird around you. You were my guard after all. You did warn me to think of how my actions could affect Vincent. You weren't wrong," Aurora still agreed with Jane being overprotective of Vincent.

"How on earth did you and Derek fall in love with each other?" Aurora asked out of the blue.
