-chapter 2- Starting Class

I woke up in a seemingly infinite void.

"What is going on?" I asked myself as thoughts were flying through my head at the speed of light. Instead of dwelling on questions without answers I tried to distract myself by studying the choices of starting classes.

*Starting classes*

-Light warrior

-Medium warrior

-Heavy warrior

-Archer

-Mage

-Healer

The choices before me were as basic as could be if you consult my limited knowledge of fantasy books. I didn't know what to choose so I started with eliminating what I was not going to choose.

"I don't want to have a healer or archer class plus I don't know how magic works so I should probably be some type of warrior" I mused to myself deep in thought "The heavy warrior doesn't attract me at all" I'm thinking as I picture a muscular man in plate armour with a war hammer. I was about to follow my parents ideology of being average and pick the medium warrior because it would be the most balanced and would average out the stats ,but then I thought about the thought that went through my head right before all this happened and on a impulsive decision I chose the light warrior class and the void I was in exploded into a shower of sparks.

I opened my eyes lying down in a patch of grass surrounded by trees

" Seems like I am waking up a lot today" I mumble as I close my eyes to try to clear my head. Several seconds later I look around and notice I'm not alone. There are three other people in the clearing with me. There are two girls, one of which is actually Ivy and one other guy. We all looked around at one another in a moment of awkward silence untill Ivy ran over to me and wrapped me in a hug and started to cry.

"What is going on? In so confused. what is happening?" she asked in a rush when the tears slowed down.

I tried my best to not feel uncomfortable in the situation as the other two people watched us from where they were still on the ground. I tried to change the subject and called over to them awkwardly.

" uh... hows it going?"
