Tory was disappointed in herself but didn't let it show on her face. She then walked up to Agent Blake with a sour taste in her mouth.

"Well, Black certainly didn't disappoint me" he nodded before making his way to the exit leaving the confused Tory to her thoughts. Without a proper grade, she couldn't tell if she was in or not.

While she was still thinking about her fate, the other three walked up to her.

"Looks like you're part of us now" the captain smiled.

"But he..."

"Don't worry, that's just how he does his thing, if you weren't in you wouldn't still be here" the silver-haired guy interrupted while placing his arm around Tory's neck.

"By the way, I'm Benjamin, code name Hetz, you can call me Benja while we're out. This is Captain Flame he's real name is Kyle and that guy is Sprout, his real name is Torris but you can call him Tortoise for short"

"How is this guy even a spy?" Philip wore an incredulous expression.

"Thank you for the introduction Hetz" Flame forced a smile with twitching lips before turning to Tory. "Why don't you introduce yourself?"

"My name is Troy Briston..." Tory paused to gauge their expressions and seeing they did not continue speaking she realized she had to come up with a code name.

This was definitely going to become a core memory since she was a kid, she already had her code name in many minds. "My code name is Pure"

"Pure...I sort of like it" Sprout said making the others look at home m with a deadpan expression, it seemed like they weren't very fond of it but oh well.

"Anyway let's get you Seven to sort you out. You might be going on your first mission in a week or two and... good job on the course" Flame winked.

"Yeah, that was cool although I could have done much better but nice work" Hetz complimented, indirectly praising himself.

"Ignore him and it's probably best to stay away from him, we still don't know if he's contagious. By gods grace, we'll have another normal addition to the squad"

"That's not very nice?" Hetz raided a brow.

"Whose the first?" Sprout asked with a thoughtful expression.

"Me, now start moving," Flame said.

"Is Seven also an agent?" Tory asked when she saw how the atmosphere was plunging into silence.

"Em not exactly, she's a tech," Sprout said.

"Our tech" Hetz corrected. "You'll meet her soon, she's pretty and doesn't respond to my flirting, look at this face, I got muscles, I got abs, what more could she want"

"Maybe a more normal person!" Flame said without turning back.

"What do you mean Captain? I'm more than normal" Hetz smirked

"Exactly, you're abnormal" Flame sighed in frustration while Philip was laughing his ass off.

"Don't you get the joke, abnormal is two letters more than normal" Philip continued laughing while Jeffrey decided to ignore him.

"I think the author went a bit overboard with creating these characters, aren't spies supposed to be serious people?" Jeffrey frowned.

"Says who, I think the author is doing a pretty good job here adding a bit of comedy will make the book less boring," Philip said.

"Let's agree to disagree then"

"I think you're back to normal now?" Philip chuckled.

"Now that you mention it, I do feel like myself again" he hadn't noticed it before but after Philip pointed it out he realized he wasn't behaving or speaking strangely anymore. That got him curious, what was wrong with him?

Jeffrey shook those irrelevant thoughts out of his head after seeing Tory and her new squad reach their destination.

There was no knocking or anything of the sort, Flame just passed through the door and the others filled behind him dragging Tory along.

What lay beyond was a workshop with different gadgets lying around. Two robots were moving around completely ignoring their arrival.

"Agent Flame!!" a voice came from the corner, and a girl with Scarlett's hair walked out from the heap of metal scraps.

"She's the tech? I guess she's about Tory's age or maybe even younger" Philip said contemplating.

"It's been a while" Flame chuckled seeing her reactions.

"Yeah, you guys only come when you need me" Seven pouted.

"Don't be like that, we see you before every mission?" Sprout said.

"Senorita did you miss me?" Hetz winked and blew a kiss but Seven ignored him, treating him as air.

"Who's the new guy?" Seven asked, smiling at Tory.

"I'm Pure" Tory introduced herself offering her hand for a handshake but Seven did not respond but only stared at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You do know spies don't shake each other, we nod. Well not we, you guys"

"Oh..." Tory was about to take back his hand but Seven shake her before she could.

"But since you're new and so good looking I'm making an exception" Seven giggled seeing Tory's confused gaze.

"Stop teasing him" Flame sighed.

"This is so not fair," Hetz said with an annoyed expression.

"Well, at least you have a competitor now" Sprout shrugged while Hetz glared at him.

Before any other conversation was made, Philip and Jeffrey were pulled back to their bodies. The alarm was ringing so loud, Philip felt his eardrums pounding.

"What the actual..."

"Language" Jeffrey stopped him before he could curse.

"Why did you set the alarm clock?" Philip groaned.

"I did not want an incident like before happening again and it's dinner time, my mom should be coming to call us down soon"

*Sigh*

"The story is great though and I'm definitely completing it. I never read a book halfway"

"That novel has more than a thousand chapters," Jeffrey said but Philip did not seem to get the point. "Forget it, let's go"

"Hold on, what are you doing" Philip suddenly stood in front of him stopping him from going out.

"What?" Jeffrey asked confused.
