Last Humans

After leading them to her study, Evie brought out her laptop and showed them the completed comic.

"The art is sick, you drew these?" Philip was impressed as a comic lover he had read some comics with pretty bad art but great story and some great art with not so great story and he could tell Evie's art was nice.

"Thank you" Evie smiled after receiving the compliment, it meant a lot to her to finally step out of the shadow of her father.

"You're the critic Jeffrey mentioned?" she asked.

"That's probably my dad, I'm just a lover of great stories" Philip shrugged. "Just give me a snitch, if it turns out great you'll have your first fan"

"Hold up, the name says 'Last Humans' what is that about?" Serena asked drawing the attention of the others to actually look at the font.

The cover was captivating and it actually overshadowed the font which was why Philip failed to notice it at first glance. "Horror?"

"Sort of..." Evie said with an embarrassed smile.

"Your first comic is horror based? I wasn't expecting that" Jeffrey said with his arm folded.

"There are no zombies though, it just revolves around surviving the wrath of twelve gods which was caused by a greedy sailor" Evie explain but half of them barely understood her.

"How about I just mail it to you five and you can share your review before I go to the art dimension next week"

"What are you doing in the Arts Dimension?" May questioned curiously.

The Arts Dimensions as the name implied was the dimension of people who remotely studied anything thing based on art such as Sculptors, Artists and the like.

The dimension was almost more respected than the Writers Dimension and just like the Dimension of Mythics you are only allowed access with a recommendation.

Hiring an artist from the Arts Dimension usually costs a lot but at the end of the day, your money won't have been going to waste.

One recommendation can only last you three days, once those three days expire you'll be thrown out whether you're a king or a peasant.

"I got a recommendation letter, turns out I also have to become a verified artist before becoming a comic author" Evie explained.

"Aren't recommendation letters hard to get, how come you have one at this age?" Jeffrey asked.

"Well...I..."

Seeing Evie hesitate, the others understood, it must have been her dad.

'Such a connection, even within other dimensions she's basically a princess...' Serena thought forgetting that she was way worse at taking advantage of her dad's connection.

"What I'm concerned about is aren't there any age restrictions?" Jeffery asked.

"Not for artists and if I can successfully become a verified Artist, I'll become a Comic Author by next year" Evie said a bit excited.

'So bored' Zakhir thought.

"Okay, then I'll expecting your comic" Philip smiled. "So what else have you planned for today, I'm starting to get bored"

May shook her head. "Birds of the same feather flock together, in case you haven't realized, you're a guest"

"I'm treating her as a friend, what is your problem, Jeff please straighten your little girlfriend" Philip scoffed but the next moment he felt a chill run down his spine.

"You are welcome to do what you want, just don't drag me into your childish squabble" Jeffrey rolled his eyes and Evie chuckled.

"There's no need to worry, I already thought of it, I've prepared a fun-filled afternoon you don't have to worry about getting bored" Evie smiled.

"Finally" Zakhir and Philip sighed at the same time.

Somewhere in one of the forbidden Dimensions, a man walked into a dark shady store.

He had a cloak to hide his identity but when he reached the reception he remove the hood. After seeing his appearance the receptionist let him in.

"You're finally back, I never thought it would take so long" another man sitting on a couch said. He had a huge scar on the left side of his face and the aura around him was nothing short of dangerous.

Still, the cloaked man took ignored him. He first took off his clothes before sitting comfortably on the opposite couch.

"Was the adventure that bad?" the other asked.

"I found the record, a real dragon was bearing Zakhir" the formerly cloaked man said, going straight to the point.

"It means that was a real dragon scale"

"Focus on the bigger picture, Zakhir is no ordinary dragon and I learned he might be still alive"

"That is not possible, dragons were extinct long before dimensional rifts started opening"

"The client must be hiding something. I'm going to need your men to find out his identity from the museum"

The man on the opposite scoffed and then lit up a cigarette. "It's not easy to get into that place"

"You did it once, do it again or I won't be working on incomplete information" the man put back his cloak and exited the room.

After the cloaked man left, the cloaked man continued smoking until the stick was almost expired.

"Gin! get Nate over here" he uttered and after a while,

"Yes boss" a tall dark fellow walked in and stood beside the man.

"Nate I need you to sneak into Pick A Legend and get me the customer file for a year ago. Be careful you're still useful"

The dark guy known as Nate nodded and the next moment he disappeared into the shadows, leaving only the man and his thoughts.

"If Coast is right then I must get my hands on the real dragon"
