"Hm looks like Mangrell took his time to pick a successor" Zakhir scoffed.

"My attention is not getting diverted, we'll find out who Mangrell is eventually but who are you..." Jeffrey said, wearing a confused look on his face.

Zakhir smirked and then waved his hand. Snow started falling inside Jeffrey's room and even though he didn't wanna admit it, he was mesmerized by the scene but unlike Philip and Serena, he quickly regained his composure and listened to what he had to say.

Zahkhir was clearly trying to make an entrance and when he saw that everyone's attention had been captured, he waved his hand again, dispelling the cloud that had formed over their head.

"Many many years ago..."

"Oh boy..." Philip shook his head.

"What?" Zahir frowned.

"It's a classic, use another intro"

"Wait what? you interrupted me because of this..."

"Well yeah, who wants to get bored at the very first sentence?" Philip shrugged unconcernedly.

"Don't mind my idiot brother, please continue Mr. Mighty Dragon sir" Serena said with her lashes fluttering.

"We can not deal with you right now so please don't say a word, your current state is disturbing" Jeffrey sighed. "Please continue"

'What a weird bunch of kids. Is it because the magic in this world is diminishing, so they don't even learn basic respect? No matter, it is beneath me to deal with them' Zakhir thought.

"As I was saying. I am the youngest son of emperor Forde and though my dad got married to an ice dragon, all of my brothers were fire dragons except me, I was both"

"Wow, so there are fire and ice dragons...cool" Philip said excitedly.

"I thought you said you read about dragons?" Zahir raised a brow.

"I did, a lot of books actually but only few mention the distinction of dragon with abilities, the others believe every dragon breath fire"

Zakhur stared at him as if he was an idiot. "Do you know the population of dragons in ancient times, if everyone has fire then there would be nothing that sets us apart"

"So let's say, how many types of dragons are there?" Jeffrey asked curiously.

"They're are fire dragons, ice dragons, water dragons, wind dragons, and shadow dragons. There are others but their population wasn't enough to have a tribe of their own. Like the lightening dragons who became a clan under the shelter of wind dragons"

"Fire dragons are red, ice dragons are blue, the water dragons usually don't have a single color but those of their royal family were all white dragons. Wind dragons are either sort of brown or green while shadow dragons are black"

"Impressive" Jeffrey said with a silly smile. "Okay now for a very important question, why are you here?"

"What do you mean?" Zahir asked confused.

"Well, dragons must have been extinct or something so even if you have a revenge plan, your enemy is probably long dead, and you came back with us so you know how the world is now, magic is useless so let me rephrase my question, what are your plans?" Jeffrey said.

"I do not know, what you said is correct, some of my memories are missing since this is just a bit of my consciousness. For now, I can slowly recover but I still have to find my heart" Zakhir said thoughtfully.

"Not really my point, what I mean is do you really want to live in our modern society?" Jeffrey asked.

"Just chill what could go wrong, it's not like your mom will actually kill you?" Philip laughed but Jeffrey read another meaning to his words but decided to confirm.

"What do you mean?"

"Ah, isn't he gonna stay with you?" Philip asked with genuine confusion.

"What? No way, absolutely not. You found him so keep him"

"Wait what? my dad will bury me alive, going to the Mystic Dimension is one thing, taking Serena with me is another, if I bring a dragon home, I probably won't even have a grave"

"I don't see how that's my problem" Jeffrey shrugged.

"Come on we've been friends for so many years, you can't do this to me" Philip pleaded.

While the duo was busy arguing about who keep him, Zakhir's lips were twitching. 'I a mighty dragon, they should feel privileged that I am even here but they..."

"This is not going to work, the only way is to hide his identity as a dragon" Jeffrey sighed.

"I'm not complaining" Philip nodded.

"Taking him with you is the best option. You're a social butterfly so claiming he is one of your friends should have no repercussions or..." Jeffrey paused and turned to Serena who was still staring at Zakhir with dreamy eyes.

"Or what?"

"You could just say he's Serena's boyfriend"

"What?" Zahir choked.

"Huh?" Serena was confused, she woke up from her daze because she heard her name.

"That is a great idea, since she came without permission she should bear the consequence" Philip laughed dramatically.

"What is a great idea?" Serena tilted her head.

"Congratulations you just got a boyfriend" Philip chuckled while Zakhir's expression could not be described with words.

"I do not understand what is wrong with your human brains but I am not having a girlfriend"

"Come on it's just an act and besides the Viewers Dimension has all the cool stuff. If you help me get out of trouble, I'll take you anywhere you want" Philip pleaded with his hands clapped together.

"You don't really have a choice in this?" Jeffrey said ruining the mood but what made Zakhir even more angry was he couldn't refute it.

"Okay now that, that is settled let's move on to a more important subject. Who is Mangrell and how do you even know him?"
