Chapter 36: Saint Noah

No one uttered a word.

Not a single muscle twitched.

All eyes remained fixed on Noah, waiting with bated breath for his next move.

Would he fight? Run away? Attempt to negotiate or strike a deal?

But Noah did none of that.

He nonchalantly disregarded everyone around him, solely focused on devouring the food before him.

The room resonated with the sound of clinking plates and Noah's voracious munching. Fury's frustration escalated, nearly causing a vein to burst on his forehead. He desperately massaged his temples with one hand, trying to regain his composure, while gesturing to his agents with the other to apprehend Noah.

Following the command, the group of agents moved with precision and order. They swiftly escorted Tony away from the table to safety before closing in on Noah, their aim fixed on his head.

Two agents advanced toward Noah, equipped with high-tech cuffs for his hands and legs. However, as they approached within a meter of him, a remarkable event unfolded.

(Crack)

(Thud)

Fury barely had time to blink before finding his agents sprawled on the ground, screaming in agony. Their limbs contorted in unnatural ways, manipulated like toys in the hands of a child. Meanwhile, Noah remained seated, continuing his meal seemingly oblivious to the chaos around him.

The whispers of "hyper super speed" echoed in everyone's minds.

Captain America instinctively assumed a fighting stance, reaching for his shield on his back, only to find emptiness.

"What in God's name?" Steve exclaimed as the realization hit him. Someone had stolen his shield!

His attention swiftly turned toward Noah, just to witness him using his shield as plate for his food.

The audacity!!

Using a Vibranium-metal alloy shield as a food tray? A shield forged for defense and protection of the many, now reduced to a mere plate—a preposterous sight beyond belief!

"What kind of joke is this?!" Steve muttered with hint of anger. He felt an urge to charge towards Noah and reclaim his shield, but someone firmly grasped his shoulder, stopping him in his tracks.

Steve turned around to find Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, using military sign language to silently convey that they should wait for her signal.

And in the midst of all this chaos, Tony sat in the corner, calmly eating popcorn and recording the entire spectacle through his glasses.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Noah finished his meal.

He stood up, holding the shield in one hand, and used a toothpick to clean his teeth with the other. Suddenly, a puff of smoke enveloped his body.

"Ahhhhh, it has been a year since I returned to my original form!" his voice echoed through the room and from within the smoke emerged Noah in his glorious true form.

The pair of captain Stared at Noah with Shock in their eyes.

Both Captain America and Captain Marvel stared at Noah in utter shock. Steve was taken aback by witnessing an alien for the first time, while Carol was surprised because she had never encountered an alien species that resembled Noah.

Noah placed a hand on his neck and cracked it a few times before vanishing and reappearing in front of Steve.

Upon seeing Noah appear right in front of him, Steve's entire body tensed, his fist poised for a strike. However, he stop half way.

Because what Noah did next made him confused.

Noah handed him the shield and said.

"Good shield! you can fit so much food on it!" He said giving Steve warm saintly smile while patting his shoulder.

Steve didn't know why, but after seeing the warm kind smile on Noah face he unconsciously dropped his guard down for millisecond.

And noticing that, the saintely look on Noah face immediately changed to that of a demon lord from the deepest pit of hell.

"Yoshaaaa!!" Noah Exclaimed Loudly with an expression so devilish it would put statan to shame.

He then grabbed Steve by the shoulders spanning him around and then suplexeding him savagely into the ground!!

(BOOOM)

Steve was caught off guard, unable to comprehend what had just hit him. One moment, he was retrieving his shield, and the next, he found himself kissing the ground face-first.

His vision started to fade, and the last thing he saw before losing consciousness was Noah standing over him, with the most unhinged and evil smile known to man and demons while striking a victory pose above his defeated body.

"What the hell wrong with this day and age?" Steve muttered to himself before passing out completely.

And so, the great war hero and the symbol patriotism Captain america was knocked out cold and his body laid on the ground motionlessly.

In the midst of the chaos, everyone in the restaurant remained frozen in shock. They couldn't process what they had just witnessed or how Steve had been defeated in a single blow.

Except for Carol.

She flew at incredible speed toward Noah, her eyes flickering with golden energy.

When she got to him, she grabbed him by the waist, intending to launch herself and him far away from passersby.

But to her surprise she couldnt move him an inch.

But Carol didn't give up, she gritted her teeths and used even more power to lift him up.

All the while, Noah remained motionless, gazing down at the random woman who was grabbing him as if her life depended on it.

He intended to finish this quickly before grabbing Tony and leaving to continue his meal somewhere else.

But now out of nowhere, this woman rushed into him and stuck into him like glew.

He couldn't fathom why she's doing this, so he tried to think about it logicly.

The way shes grabbing him.

The burning look in her eyes.

the way she pressing herself into his body.

It all lead to one explanation.

This woman is a shameless molester!!

Upon coming to that realization the look on his face turned to that of disgust.

He raised his fist ready to strike this shameless women down, but before he could do so a voice boomed in his mind.

<"You fucking idiot, she is trying to move you away from here, so she could fight you without worrying about her friends getting hurt!!"> Psyche said with his usual grumpy voice.

"........"

<"On second thought, I think i might misunderstood her"> Noah said with a hint of embarrassment in his eyes

<"O Reallllly? You don't say?" Psyche spoke in a sarcastic tone

<"Anyway, i'm trying to watch some TV in here, so keep the tomfoolery at minimum."> Psyche said.

<"TV? What the hell...."> Noah paused for a second then continued "<I almost fell for it">

In response the sounds of Tom and Jerry cartoons coming from a tv could be heard echoing throughout his mind.

<"Fell for what?"> Psyche asked

<"....."> Noah was just baffled of what is happening in his mind now.

All this talk happened in under a second.

Carol exerted every ounce of strength within her, her muscles straining and veins pulsating on her forehead. She channeled her power into her legs, causing them to radiate with a fiery glow, as if a thousand flames were dancing in unison.

Noah, recognizing the situation, decided to go along with it. After all, he didn't want this burger joint to be demolished, especially since they served some of the best burgers he had ever tasted so far. He had plans to become a regular customer there someday, so he couldn't afford to cause any unnecessary destruction to the place.

A sudden chill filled the air, sending a shiver down the owner's spine. He couldn't help but mutter under his breath, wondering why the temperature had dropped so abruptly.

"Damn it, you heavy bastard! Take off and fly!" Carol's frustration erupted, her voice echoing through the room.

And In a remarkable turn of events made by the combined effort of Her and Noah, Carol managed to launch herself and Noah toward the ceiling breaking a hole in it, and dragging Noah with her into the sky.

Within moments, they both vanished from sight, and some time later, an extraordinary occurrence took place, causing every soul in the city, nay, the world, to gaze upwards toward the heavens with a mixture of awe and reverence, and fear!

On this fateful day, a resplendent and wondrous second sun burst forth in the heavens, bathing the entire world in its radiant embrace. Its luminous rays danced upon every corner of creation, which inspired aew upon all who gazed upon its majestic splendor.

From the biggest city to the smallest village, humanity collectively lifted their eyes to behold this magnificent spectacle, their minds and souls filled with wonder.

Who is the creator of this celestial marvel?
