2 The Drinking Hero Mikhail Anatoly.

When Alexander got the call from his Father he smiled as he was without question, his Father's favorite child. He was his only son after all as the twins he had with his wife were twin girls. Even his stepsister the daughter of his Father's wife was a girl. As such, he quickly became his favorite because his Father was the definition of a manly man.

He wasn't a bad Father to his daughters, just that he related better to his son. When he answered the video call, he looked at his Father's bearded face.

"Alexander my boy, how are you doing these days?"

Alexander chuckled as he and his dad spoke nearly every day. His Father was very involved in his life since he was little as he would make time to come to Japan to spend even a day with him.

He would even take him with him to Russia since his Mom didn't mind him spending time with his Father. They split on good terms and they made good co-parents.

"Great, though I am sure Mom is mad at me. I skipped my Middle School graduation."

His Father started to laugh.

"I did the same when I was your age. Anyhow, are you ready for Summer?"

"Yup, planning on spending that time training with you for the upcoming UA entrance."

Before his Father, Mikhail Anatoly could respond, Nemuri spoke up first.

"Speak Japanese you two, I don't know Russian."

With a chuckle, his Father did as she asked speaking perfect Japanese. Though, even then he snuck in a Russian accent which was impressive.

"If that is what you want, how are things, Kayama?"

Alexander turned the phone so his Father could see her.

"Great, it would be better if our son would stop skipping in that fancy new truck you got him."

Mikhail nodded a bit.

"A man must know when to follow the rules and when to break them. A single day won't do any harm and middle school in all honesty is worthless. It is High School or in our son's case Hero School which matters.

If he is to take the fight to the Varients, he must be strong because, unlike the common Villain, those beasts don't care about fame, fortune, or fun. They live to eat us. As such, I want to ask if you mind if I take him with me for the entire summer yes.

Last year he spent half and half that time with us."

His Mom from the look of things looked disappointed.

"It would be lonely without my boy, but it is not my place to say he can't spend time with you and his family."

Mikhail understood that.

"He can just take a private jet back to Japan if you want to see him in person, or you come with him."

Nemuri shook her head.

"I don't want to step on your wife's toes."

Suddenly, behind Mikhail, his wife jumped into the conversation.

"Nonsense. I was the one who suggested it. You and my husband are good co-parents and having you around wouldn't annoy me. Not unless you want to take him from me."

She placed her hands on Mikhail's shoulders with a slight smirk. She had long blue hair in an intricate braid, and she was on the taller side. Her name was Katerina Anatoly, Alexander's stepmom. A former B+ Rank hero who retired when she became a mom to her twins.

Being a Mother to three was hard enough while toggling with hero work too.

Nemuri though shook her head with a smirk of her own.

"Nah, I already got a kid with him, I don't want him back."

Mikhail's face dropped at that.

"Now that's just hurtful. Do you want to come or not?"

Nemuri thought about it carefully before deciding otherwise.

"I am ok. I was just complaining. Alexander is in good hands with you two and I bet his sisters miss him."

Katerina smiled happily as she ruffled Mikhail's hair.

"Ain't that the truth, those girls hate it when he leaves. They ask why their big brother leaves. They are 7 years old so it is understandable for them to be attached to him."

Speaking of his sisters, Alexander was more curious about his stepsister.

"How is Victoria doing?"

Victoria was born as a result of almost the same cause as Alexander was in a one-night stand. Unlike Mikhail who stepped up to raise his son, her Father wasn't in her life. He wasn't anything special unlike Mikhail the guy had a minor E- Quirk related to air.

Katerina face palmed at the mention of her daughter.

"What do you think? That girl is like the female version of you minus the tattoos. She skips school, gets into fights, and prefers to use her fists rather than her brain."

Mikhail chuckled.

"She came out like you, love. I will be going to Japan tomorrow to pick you up so get packed. And be ready for the little magpies to annoy you."

Katerina bonked him on the head.

"Our daughters are not magpies you drunk. Both of you, go easy on the drinking when you get here."

Nemuri had the same time to say.

"I agree with her. When you two get together, you drink hundreds of liters of alcohol in one sitting. I still don't get how you two were accepted to be heroes when you need to get drunk to use your powers."

Mikhail smirked as his ability relied on him metabolizing alcohol into a body-enhancing serum. Just a few drops of the stuff made him a superhuman who could have buildings fall on him and not even get a scratch.

Despite still feeling the effects of being drunk, he was far more in control and dangerous when drunk than not. His son was no different and as a result of his 'Quirk' had to drink since he was a kid.

Rather than cause him health issues, he was much stronger and healthier because of that.

"It's just a result of his powers. You know what the doctor told you."

Nemuri didn't like it though.

"Yeah, I know. His drinking will make his body stronger and more resilient even when he has not drunk anything. I am not going to cut him off, just know some moderation."

Mikhail nodded.

"Trust me, I know. Anyhow, I will you two tomorrow."

Katerina turned to her stepson.

"Glad to have you back. The girls will be overjoyed to see you, they have been counting the days to have their brother back."

"Tell them I can't wait to see them."

"I will."

With that, the phone call got cut which made Nemuri place her head on the table. Alexander patted her on the back a bit.

"I know what you mean now. I am single too. How is it fair that he has a hottie for a wife when I am all alone."

Alexander shrugged.

"I have no idea, all I know, is it is drinking time."

Sadly, she asked for one too.

"Pour me a shot, make it double."

Alexander stood up and he walked over to the rack of different alcohols. His Father had the same issue as him that normal alcohol would get burned through in a few minutes so he had something even stronger than Everclear.

It was so strong that someone without a power related to regeneration would probably have liver damage. That was why it was made only for Mikhail to use in his hero work. The famous Drinking Hero had exceptional self-control when under the influence.

He poured himself a double shot of the stuff, but he poured his mother a double shot of regular Whiskey. He placed the drink next to her head and she grabbed the shot glass and down the whole thing.

"Ah, that hit the spot. I can feel the sadness leaving me."

He down his shot and the moment he did, his red eyes began to slowly start to glow a bright purple. Inside his body, near his liver, his Alter Organ which granted him his Alter Cells and his Alter Powers shot awake.

It took the super potent alcohol in his body and began to use it instantly to begin to produce the body-enhancing effects that made him so powerful. Those Cells had fused with Quirk Factor meaning that compared to the original user of this power, the Alter Shuten Doji couldn't compare to him.

Like the original character, he could turn alcohol into a body-enhancing chemical in his body making him a physical juggernaut in combat. He could regenerate from extreme damage as a result of his reckless drinking, he could ignite and freeze alcohol around him in a similar way to Shoto. And when he was drunk, his senses were elevated to new heights.

He had even inherited his Mother's Quirk which fused with his Alter abilities causing his fire and ice to turn purple. Unlike her, his power had no gender limitations and he could use it through his flames and ice.

The only downside was that he got hungover and he was still drunk when using his powers. He walked over to his mom and patted her on the back. However, if he had to rank his powers according to the E to S rank, his power was Ranked S+.

However, the amount of power he could use at his young age was an S- rank. As for his Father, he was a powerful S Rank Quirk making him the number 1 hero in Russia. As for Nemuri, her power was a C- since she lacked raw power.

"Don't get too drunk, I only wanted one before bed."

Nemuri waved him off.

"I am not like you or your Father, one shot for me is more than enough. Now, do you think I should look for a husband?"

He shrugged.

"I have no idea, do what you want. You're the adult."

As he walked up to his room, she thought about it. Her parents kept telling her to find a proper husband for her sake. She was approaching 40 after all, but she had more time than that with proper rejuvenation treatments that could extend people's lives by a few years.

Some people didn't want to die young, so Rejuvenation Treatments were one answer that could un-age someone a few years. The facts remained that her son was almost 18 and she would still be 36 when that happened.

More than young enough to find a husband.

"Might as well get back out there I guess."

As for Alexander, he walked up to his room which was the largest room in the house. He had a king-sized bed, a large closet, and another rack of pure alcohol for his use. He had a large TV mounted to the wall, the newest game console, and a few other items.

He had a few bigger rooms in his father's house, but this was fine too. The first thing he did was kick off his indoor sandals and jump on the bed. It was still early as it was barely 4:50 PM when his Mother called him it was just a little bit after noon.

He had a whole day to go through so he decided to watch some TV shows. He walked over to his minifridge and pulled out a Mountain Dew before sitting in bed. He got his TV remote and pulled up his favorite streaming service to watch some shows.

As for his Mother, whatever she did was up to her, but he did wonder if she would ever settle down.

'Honestly, probably not.'

Suddenly he heard it.

"ACHOO!"

"BLESS YOU!"

"THANK YOU!"

With a shake of his head, Alexander focused back on the TV wishing his mom the best.

---

For the rest of the day now that he was out of Middle School, he decided to enjoy the free time because his dad could be a spartan trainer, but if not for his old man, he would barely understand his powers or have legal access to alcohol to use them.

Eventually, his Mom called him downstairs. She wanted to have a movie night before he left so they enjoyed some time watching their favorite action films. One of Alexanders' favorite genres was the Zombie Apocalypse with Quirks, but Nemuri liked the Robot Uprising better.

Together, they enjoyed a few movies while they shared a few beers and snacks. They often had this kind of Movie Night, but in reality, his Mom wasn't a big drinker. She only sometimes touched the stronger stuff, but it did help to relax after a hard day. By the end of it, his Mom fell asleep on the couch so he took her up to her room and placed her in bed.

"Goodnight."

Once she was out, he left her room to take a shower, brush his teeth, and get ready for bed because tomorrow he would be in Russia with his Father.
