His eyes fluttered , feeling the sweet breeze brushing against his skin. He slowly came to his consciousness as he felt the warm sun dancing on his pale skin.

He groggily opened his eyes , finding himself faced directly by the blazing sun.His eyes quivered and closed again as he brought his hands to shield against the raging light before opening them again.

"Ughhh, wher….where am i?". The teen wondered in confusion and stirred himself up ,feeling the mellow sand beneath his hands, some scattering down from his short blond hair.

He looked around in slight confusion, trying to recall what he last remembers,'hmmm, i was in that white void, with the red wheel. There was also that large red eye that appeared at the end. Wonder it was. Not like it really matters at this point, still, what island did it send me to?'

He looked around. No matter how he looked at it,the place looks like a big island in the middle of the ocean, an ocean that extends as far as the eye can see.

He was on the shore and behind him was a big forest ,very thick with trees, befitting of a large island. The first thing the man did was look around the beach to see if anything else had survived its journey here with him.

He walked along the beach for a minute before he spotted the broken remains of a medieval pirate ship. It was in tatters and looked to have been fighting for its life since time immemorial. He quickly picked up a small wooden log as a weapon just in case and slowly climbed the ship .

Five minutes later, he concluded that no one was on the ship, given he hadn't heard any echo ,except his, throughout the entire ordeal. He walked towards one of the rooms that seemed to have belonged to an important member of the crew.

He opened the door, only to be met with the sight of a dusty room ,with its only inhabitant being a skeleton and numerous animals that seemed to have made the skeleton their personal home.

He carefully walked around the room, checking the cabinet and bags that rested on the dusty bed.

He found some materials that he quickly rounded, which consisted of some jewelry, two gold bars, some money notes, a big bag filled with civilian-like clothes and an average pirate sword. He quickly put all these things in one big bag he carried out of the room and into the next one which didn't have much value.

He repeated this routine, and he occasionally found some interesting stuff, like the secret money stash of each crew member who all seemed to be greedy, given each had enough money a civilian could only ever dream of.

He also found some medical, navigation, and ship building books that the doctor, shipwright and navigator seemed to have kept for emergencies.

The last room he visited seemed to the captains, evidenced by the boxes of treasures and the captain's attire that consisted of a cliche brown jacket ,hat, brown boots and the pistols to put the cherry on the pie.

He exited the room a minute later with all the loot he found as he slowly walked off the ship and towards the forest. He looked at the sky, noticing the dark clouds that started to slowly gather,an indication it was about to rain. He frowned before quickly entering the forest ,looking for a proper place to camp.

After two hours of walking and avoiding some dangerous animals that seemed to be looking for their next meal, he arrived at a small clearing that had a decent sized waterfall and a cave to boot. He put the large bag down and sat down under the tallest tree to rest and gather his wits.

Ten minutes, he was good to go as he stood up from under the tree. He briefly rummaged through the bag before pulling out one of the swords and a lamp. He then closed the bag before leaving it under the tree and walking towards the cave's entrance.

He held the sword with his right hand while holding the lamp he had turned on with his left hand. Taking a deep breath to push down his nervousness, he entered the dark cave and was quickly met with a swarm of bats and rats that he quickly cut down while swinging without hesitation and some skill.

A minute later, he continued to explore the cave before reaching what seemed to be its end. He expected to meet a fearsome animal that he would have to fight to claim his right over the cave, only to be met with the sight of skeletal bones and two large wooden boxes, the smaller one of the two having a note on it.

He looked around to make sure it was safe before he approached the first box that had a blue locket. He stabbed his sword through the box, meeting little to no resistance as the paper on it fell down on the ground. He ignored it in favor of looking at what was in the box.

In the box was a pineapple-like fruit that had blue spirals on all over it. Though unlike a regular pineapple, the crown on top wasn't long and rigid, but a soft and mellow green as it laid softly in the wooden box. He looked at the fruit, before sighing and picking up the paper and reading it. It read,

[If you're reading this,it means you arrived safely and you survived, for now at least.Anyway, as you might have guessed, that is the devil fruit you personally customized and the sword is in the other box. It has none of the standard weaknesses of a normal devil fruit so you can still swim and you can also use it in any environment, including water no matter how deep. Anyways, the current timeline is one year before Roger reaches Laughtale . Do what you will with this information. This is the last time you'll hear from me for a while].

The moment he finished reading the last sentence, the paper burst into ashes as fire engulfed it,although it didn't hurt him. He looked around the cave before sheathing the sword back into its sheath and leaned down, grabbing the devil fruit from the box. He quickly ate, only to almost spit it out a moment later as he finally understood the pain all devil fruit users had to experience when they ate one.
