You could hear the sound of high heels click-clack down the stairs as Amoret goes down the stairs.

Everyone in the dining room had a different expression on their faces when she took her place at the table.

Her grandfather Young Qi, eldest uncle Young Wu, and father Young Fu did not seem disturbed one a bit.

Her eldest aunt Young Quer appeared surprised while her stepmother Young Mu and stepsister Young Ning seemed both shocked and angry.

Amoret did not find any suitable clothes earlier so, she choose skinny blue jeans and a white off-shoulder blouse, she paired it with a pair of beige high heels sandals and a Hibi handbag, this outlier although not eye-catching or anything but compared to what she usually wears, she seems fashionable.

Amoret sat in her place, greeted everyone with a simple good morning and waited for breakfast to be served.

She duly noted those couple of minutes was all the attention she was worth it, as everyone ignored her after that. At a time like this coupled with the expressions she saw earlier, she starts to believe the nightmare was not some illusion stemmed from her anxiety and fear but her future.

" Sister ..are you going on a date with brother Lu Fung? "

"Of course, she is, don't you see she dolled herself "

Young Mu her step-mother snobbishly answered, like I stole her clothes or something.

What a joke!

" No, I am not, I am going to university, I have class today ".

Her grandfather who ignored everyone at the table and just kept attentive to the business reports given by his two sons unexpectedly said:

" You should try to be more involved in the family corporation instead of that art rubbish of yours "

When Amoret heard this sentence she shuddered even her little cousin beside her noticed, according to the nightmare and how she usually acts, she will agree with her grandfather without a second thought just to get the approval and acceptance she always yearned for but she will be scheme behind her back by the mother and sister, she has to avoid this disaster no matter what in addition her aspiration revolve around acting, not business.

She really can't let herself be led by the nose again.

She stabilized her mind then says smilingly in one breath "grandfather, I think sister just graduated in business management, she will surely contribute greatly to the company"

She really was not trying to help her stepsister but instead, she was corning her; because in that nightmare she did work in the Young Cop after easily agreeing to her grandfather to drop the art university, but was attacked from all fronts when she worked there. While her stepsister who was addicted to snatching anything that was hers landed in some role in popular production and became a well-known actress in a flash if asked by people she would reply that she really was doing a favour to a friend and was not pursuing to be an actress; she was fake beyond redemption.

Returning to the present situation, everyone seems surprised by her response, the wimp who never has an opinion of anything disagreed with grandfather.

Her father Young Fu turned to her with eyes displaying anger on his expressionless face:

" you ungrateful -. ."

" stop, let her do as she likes "

In the end, it was still her grandfather's words that count.

Looking at her father her eyes turned cold, in her memories her father and mother were loving couples who married for love or that what she thought but when she was ten her mother died in a car accident, two months after the incident her father bought Young Mu and Young Ning and introduced them as her new mother and her older sister at that time Ning was already six years old. She would never forget how she felt that time; in the deepest part of her heart, she thanked God that her mother left before she saw this or she probably will break then in six month time she became the younger sister with an older brother of fifteen years old from commoner woman who died while giving birth and an older sister Young Ning.

She most likely becomes muddle-headed and foolish after those incidents that is why she was easily deceived and tricked.

After her grandfather finished his breakfast, she bolted out of the mansion, took her car and drove to Uni; she did not attend the class for about a year now she has a lot to do and to prepare for her graduation in six next months time.
