1 Chapter 1: Prologue

The moment Keira Leaf stepped out of East City Prison, she felt the sunlight outside was blinding.

Six years.

She had transformed from an eighteen-year-old young girl into a twenty-four-year-old woman, and from a naive and spoiled wealthy young lady into an unscrupulous ex-convict.

Keira Leaf opened her enchanting cat's eyes, her crimson lips curving slightly. "My enemies, how have you been?"

Not far from the prison gate stood a plump, pale woman, who teared up at the sight of Keira Leaf and hurriedly approached. "Miss, you're finally out."

Keira Leaf's gaze fell on her, revealing a touch of faint warmth in her eyes. "Mom Wu, you have been through a lot these years."

Wu Ma looked at the captivating woman in front of her, feeling somewhat dazed.

In her memory, her young lady was a pure and innocent girl with clear eyes. Yet, the bewitching and charming figure before her... was this really her young lady?

"Miss, you've changed."

Keira Leaf smiled slightly, "Mom Wu, six years have passed, what wouldn't have changed?"

Moreover, these six years were a time of turmoil and struggle for her, a descent from paradise to hell. How could she remain the same?

Seeing Keira Leaf's indifferent expression, Wu Ma was lost in thought. Her young lady had become even more beautiful than before, like a deadly charming mandala flower that made people unable to help but fall for her.

"Are all of you well?" Keira Leaf whispered as if reminiscing. The faces of those familiar and yet distant people flashed before her eyes.

She didn't answer, because during her monthly prison visits, she had already reported every detail of everyone's situation to her young lady. There was no need for further words.

Keira Leaf pulled up the corners of her mouth and revealed a sarcastic smile.

She felt that nobody's life could be more hilarious than hers!

Her hypocritical stepmother and sister conspired to send her to prison, her once loving father ignored her imprisonment, her childhood sweetheart was in bed with her best friend – yes, her life was that absurd!

They took everything from her – her mother's inheritance, her trust and sincerity, and her love...

Keira Leaf felt that no one's life could be more of a failure or more foolish than hers!

But it didn't matter; she was still young, only twenty-four years old. She still had beauty and youth!

She had so much time to make these people pay the price. She wanted to see them lose everything and repent!

"Is the marriage between Olivia Leaf and Joshua Sulliven settled?" Keira Leaf looked at Wu Ma.

Wu Ma replied, "That despicable Olivia has already gotten engaged to Young Master Sulliven."

"My good sister's really capable. It seems I underestimated her before."
