1 Who am I? Where am I? What?

It's dark...

You can't see a thing...

Then with the blink of an eye, you see a small glow coming from across the room... you decide to get up off of the (hopefully) bed you were on and head towards it. You hear a loud noise and jerk backwards. Guy on walkie talkie#1: "*Ahem* test subject number 43 is awake and active, I repeat! Test subject number 43 is awake and active! We need backup" Guy #2: " How many reinforcements do we need?" You hear the conversation continue and fade away as the person who they were talking about was apparently not you. Thank god. You breathe a sigh of relief. But... what did they mean? Test subjects...? (Update!)

What could that possibly mean????

Wait! Stay focused! What is that orb of light? You decide to sit down on the ground, at least a foot or two away from the light. You scoot a bit closer. And closer. While making sure to take your time... It's still dark around you. Eventually you get close enough to the light to examine it. Is that, an outlet? (End of chap 1.)
