1 Rebirth

Located in an affluent Los Angeles area, a modern villa with unique architecture sat on a hill slope along with other equally exquisite designed homes. A young man stood silently in front of a glass window wall overlooking the magnificent view of the city afar.

Bright sun rays shined through the room, illuminating an exquisite face sculpted like art while melodies of chirping birds and rustling windy leaves echoed through the area.

Shiny light brown, almost blonde hair, soft and exceptionally young facial features, and a pale complexion, David Frost stood unmoving, without even showing a hint of emotion on his piercing water blue eyes.

This morning when he opened his eyes, David Frost found himself in an unknown room. The cozy environment he had been staying in for years was gone. All that's left was this lavishly decorated unknown room that gave him a sense of familiarity.

All of a sudden, memories swept through his brain like a tsunami, wave after wave, foreign flashbacks took over every bit of space in his head.

At some point, David Frost could only lie back down on the bed and stare at the ceiling with unfocused eyes while his mind processed an unbelievably large amount of information.

After a lengthy, difficult time, David Frost then gradually woke up from his trance, exposing a pair of bright eyes overflowing with life.

It was as if he was an entirely new person.

But unknown to others, this was the truth. After all, he now had a complete understanding of everything.

In an entirely unexplainable event, David Frost somehow took over the body of this unknown person from the past. Even now, he still couldn't fathom how he was able to travel back to 1995!

Well, for him, it was useless thinking about it as this was a question he would never be able to answer.

Still, two sets of memories permanently stuck in his head can really be confusing. And he could remember every single bit perfectly too!

However, even with all this, David Frost was fully aware that the original owner was now gone.

The person occupying this body now, was only him, David Frost, an orphan who lived his life aimlessly, enjoying life while writing books and chasing beautiful women to add some hint of excitement.

Searching through his memories, he found out that the original occupant of this body was born in Los Angeles, California, with the same name as him. It looks like he also had just recently celebrated his 18th birthday, you know, like private clubs, partying, and several sweet ladies.

The original owner seems to have a similar lifestyle as him, finding enjoyment in life by sleeping with hot, ravishing women.

Well, this is his body now. If someone can continue to have fun, it can only be him.

As for what happened with the original occupant, David Frost didn't know and didn't care. Maybe he passed away, or they just swapped bodies, but this was not his concern anymore.

Recalling some memory about his parents in this life, David Frost breathed a sigh of relief. Luckily, the original owner's parents passed away in a car accident two years ago, and the only one left was his guardian, a long-time butler of their family.

For him, this was enough. This way, he can continue to be a young man with no relatives left, and there would not be a need to be cautious around his relatives since they will never be around anymore. Only the butler was left, but this is easily manageable.

What made him ecstatic was a memory of his interesting family inheritance. In the past, he could not take out a single dollar as he was not legally allowed to touch the money when he wasn't an adult. But after his birthday yesterday, he was now considered an adult.

Aside from a few properties that he now has access to, including this wonderful estate he is currently staying at, he still has access to roughly 5 million US dollars in cash.

Currently, his total assets should reach about 10 to 15 million US dollars. From a few cars to a few homes to a massive ranch that the previous owner's parents planned to occupy for vacation.

It looks like as long as he could manage his finances properly, he would never have to worry about money in this life.

But as someone who came from the future, David Frost will never be content with this. Not when he knows so much about what will happen in the future. So much money everywhere waiting to be collected.

David Frost felt like he finally became the luckiest person in the world!

As the only child of the family, it was not an exaggeration to say that he was a child born on a golden plate. What's more, under the sensible teaching of his parents, how could he be useless?

The original owner was a high-achieving student who inherited the excellent genes of his parents. He learned several instruments while he was young, and as he grew up, his mind quickly became clever and understanding.

However, the original owner's shortcoming was as obvious as his merits. There was nothing he insisted on doing for more than a few weeks.

To learn various sports, he bought every expensive piece of equipment and hired top instructors to get the best teachings. But, he only played each sport for a short while before he stopped playing altogether. The same has happened with several other classes.

Even so, through the years of various physical sports, he had successfully built himself a great physique, and along with his 190 cm height, he was a monster that often attracts women's curious eyes.

"Hah..."

David Frost sighed softly, saying goodbye to the original owner before putting away his thoughts.

After the initial strange feeling of waking up in an unfamiliar environment and a series of unspeakable emotions, David quickly calmed down.

He had already made up for the possible consequences of this inexplicable trip and ended up with nothing. There seemed to be no realistic way anyone could imagine that this body was now occupied by a different soul.

Turning his head back to scan the entire room, David Frost understood the real definition of an amazing life.

White bedsheets, soft pillows, and a comfy bed large enough to fit several people at once. The entire room was spacious, and all the furniture was decorated like pieces of art. With glowing lights flowing through the windows, the room shone in the golden sunlight displaying a simple yet deluxe arrangement.

Humming a little song, David Frost came out towards the balcony, pleasantly breathing the fresh air in the morning.

Facing the sun and feeling its warm rays on his skin, squinting his eyes and stretching lazily, such a life is really good!
