36 Talking with John(Part-2).

John asked, "What proof do you have that those two serums work?"

Ava looked at the hologram map and said, "Well, I am the living proof that it work," while pointing at herself.

The car stopped at a mansion as Ava got out with two briefcases. "Let's talk about it inside, but you need to clean up; you smell like a butcher," she said, pointing at John. Helen chuckled and added, "She's not wrong."

As they entered the mansion, John looked at Ava and asked, "Aren't you afraid they'll track you using the car and the mansion?"

Ava shook her head. "The car is now gone to an anonymous location where it will be cleaned, painted a different color, and all the CCTV footage has been deleted," she explained. Taking a seat on the sofa, she continued, "And as for this mansion, I bought it under a fake name."

John nodded and went upstairs with Helen; he didn't trust anyone when it came to Helen.

Ava looked at the hologram and said, "Katie, order dinner for three people and two pills of 50 grams of thiamine, two pills of 25 grams of amphetamine, and twelve 2 gram tablets of spirulina."

[Got it, miss. What would you prefer for dinner?]

"Something healthy, like a fresh salad and fruit juice."

[The order will be delivered in 30 minutes, and miss, don't forget to call your mom.]

Ava smiled and replied, "Thanks for the reminder, Katie."

[That's my job, miss.]

Ava took out her phone and called Melissa.

Melissa picked up the phone and said sarcastically, "Oh, sweetie, you've got time to call me."

Ava replied, "Sorry, there won't be a next time."

"That better be true. So, how is your research going in New Jersey?" Melissa inquired.

Ava's eyes widened as she asked, "Mom, how do you know I'm in New Jersey?"

Melissa chuckled, "Well, Anna told me about that and your new real girlfriend."

Ava sighed, unaware of the New York incident, and asked, "Oh... Did she tell you anything else?"

"Well, I talked to her three days ago. Did something happen after that?" Melissa inquired.

"Nothing. I just want to discuss the company's future plans," Ava replied.

Melissa sighed and said, "Sweetie, you don't have to worry about the company's future. Anna can manage that. You should enjoy your life and bring your girlfriend with you."

"I was going to bring her anyway," Ava replied.

Melissa chuckled and asked, "Is that so? Oh, I forgot to inform you that Haley will be spending the summer with us."

"Why Haley? You mean Haley Dunphy?" Ava inquired.

Melissa nodded and said, "Well, yeah. Now she's your friend, right?"

Ava coughed and said, "Yeah, she's my friend, but did her mom allow it?"

"Yeah, her mother allowed it. I met her mother. She's a really honest and good person," Melissa replied.

Ava muttered in a low voice, "Yeah, she's really honest, but too honest."

"Did you say something, sweetie?" Melissa asked.

Ava replied, "Nothing, Mom. Good night."

Melissa smiled and said, "Okay, good night, sweetie."

Ava turned her face to the pillar on the right side and said, "So how long have you been listening to my conversation?"

John and Helen, who were hiding behind it, got out and walked towards Ava. Helen smiled warily and asked, "Was that your mother?"

Ava nodded and said, "Yes, she was, and also one of my most dearest persons."

Helen nodded and said with a smile, "She must be lucky to have you as her daughter."

Ava replied with a smile, "Well, the lucky one should be me to have her as my mother."

Helen nodded and smiled as she and John took a seat in front of Ava. Ava looked at them and said, "Then let's start where we stopped."

John nodded and asked, "So can those serums cure Helen's genetic disorder?"

Ava nodded and said, "Yes, either one of those two can cure Helen, but she has to choose which one to take." She took a briefcase and opened it on the table, revealing 4 CH-24 and 1 Extremis serum applicators.

John nodded and looked at the 4 purple liquids and 1 light orange liquid in the applicator inside the briefcase. Ava looked at John and said, "Well, the orange one is the Extremis serum, and the purple ones are the CH-24 serum."

John nodded and asked, "So which one was used on you?"

Ava smirked and said with horror in her voice, "I used the Extremis on myself, and one piece of advice: it really hurts."

Helen felt a shiver down her body. John didn't fear pain, as in every movie, he is either half dead or covered in cuts all over his body.

John looked at the CH-24 serum and asked, "What about the purple one?"

Ava looked at John and said, "John, pick any one of the CH-24 serums and give it to me." John nodded, picked up a random CH-24 from the briefcase, and handed it to Ava.

Ava took the random CH-24 and said, "Well, John, this one was selected by you, so there's no trick here." As she injected herself into her right arm with CH-24.

John and Helen looked at Ava, thinking she was mad. Ava chuckled as purple veins appeared on her right arm. "See, this is safe," she said. As the veins subsided, Ava's eyes turned purple for a moment before returning to their original blue color.

Helen held Ava's shoulder and started shouting, "You idiot, how could you use something like that on yourself when you're so young?" John tried to stop Helen, but it was too late.

Ava calmed Helen using her ability and said, "Helen, wait... I am the creator of it, so I know it better than anyone."

Before Helen could say anything, John interrupted her and said in shock, "You mean you are the scientist who created it?" Who would believe that a 20-year-old created a genetic serum that can evolve humans when famous scientists tried making one a thousand times in human history?

Helen got to her seat and, with the concern of a caring mother, said, "Even if you are the creator, it's not a good idea to use it like a glucose injection."

Ava chuckled and replied, "Now, that should be enough to prove that it's safe."

John nodded and asked, "So when can we inject Helen with it?"
