35 Talking with John(Part-1).

Katie drove the car outside the city, and after 40 minutes, we reached a forest with fewer cars. I grabbed a plastic bag and stepped out of the car. As I stopped using my ability, I began to vomit inside the plastic bag. After a few minutes, I stopped and sighed. "That was a relief."

As I turned, I saw Helen and John looking at me with speechless expressions. John got out and asked, "Was that your first time killing someone?" I nodded while rubbing the back of my head. "So, why did a young girl like you help us?" Helen said, peering at my face.

"Young girl? Wait, my mask fell off when I was vomiting," I thought. I took out my phone and called John. He answered, and I replied with the voice changer, "Hello, Mr. Wick, we meet in person now." John's eyes widened, and he asked, "But how?"

I smirked and replied, "Technology, Mr. Wick."

John calmed down and asked, "You told me that you can cure my wife. Is it true?"

I nodded and said, "Yes, I can, but I want your loyalty."

Before John could say anything, Helen jumped into the conversation, "What are you two talking about? What illness and what loyalty?" John ignored Helen and asked, "If you can guarantee your claim, then I don't have any problem giving you my loyalty."

Helen started shouting as John ignored her, "John, you promised me that you wouldn't be a hitman again." I sighed and walked towards Helen, while John remained on guard in case I did anything to her. I looked at her and said with a smile, "Well, Mrs. Wick, I don't want Mr. Wick to be my hitman, but I want him as my subordinate. And I promise you, he won't kill anyone who is innocent."

Helen looked back at me and asked, "Is it really true, but he is 48 years old; it's his age to leave this kind of job."

John felt a knife stab in his heart as Helen indirectly called him an old man.

I chuckled and replied, "Well, all I want is for him to train my future subordinates and handle one or two tasks a year."

Helen asked, "What kind of tasks?"

I thought and replied, "Things like kidnapping and killing if they threaten my family, but don't worry, my family is normal. I will also provide Mr. Wick with superpowers, so you don't have to worry about him getting hurt."

Helen asked suspiciously, "Superpowers? Wait... you mean real superpowers?"

I turned to John and said, "Mr. Wick, do you have anything on you that you think humans can't break?"

John was confused at first but then took out a metal revolver and handed it to me, but he removed the bullets before giving it to me.

I took the revolver and showed it to Helen, saying, "Mrs. Wick, see, this is a metal revolver that a normal human can't break."

Helen nodded and examined the revolver to confirm that it was real. I took it back and said, "See, this is not a magic trick," as I turned the revolver into metal scrap with just my bare hands and gave it back to John.

John and Helen looked at me in shock and horror. Helen stuttered, "You... you... you... are not human."

I thought if I told them that I am a devil who buys souls, they might believe it. But I don't want to joke that far.

Ava looked at stunned Helen and said, "Well, Mrs. Wick, I am a superhuman. I am also going to make Mr. Wick and you into superhumans."

John got angry and asked while pointing the gun at Ava, "What do you mean you will turn Helen into a superhuman? Are you going to use her as a test subject?"

Ava started laughing. Seeing Ava laugh, John got confused and asked, "What's so funny?"

Ava stopped laughing and said, "Well, Mr. Wick, let me finish my statement. And why I was laughing is because it's the first time someone called me a mad scientist indirectly, and you are pointing a gun at me after seeing what I did to that revolver."

John put down the gun and asked, "Then explain."

Ava nodded and said, "For that, we have to get in the car."

After they got inside the car, Ava said, "Katie, let's go to Princeton. I bought a mansion in that place."

Ava turned to John and Helen, who were waiting for Ava's explanation.

Ava said, "Well, Mr. Wick and Mrs. Wick, can I call you John and Helen?"

John and Helen nodded.

Ava smiled and said, "Let's start with Helen. You have a genetic disorder that has been passed down to you through generations."

Helen's eyes widened as she turned to John and asked, "You knew about this, didn't you, John?"

John lower his head as Helen started softly punching John's chest as she cried and shout, "Why don't you told me about it."

As they were having an emotional moment, Ava coughed and said, "Well, I don't want to ruin your moment, but I didn't complete my statement."

They stopped and looked at Ava. She continued, "In other words, Helen has a defect in one or more chromosomes in her body, but I have two solutions for that."

John and Helen asked at the same time, "What are they?"

Ava chuckled at the impatient couple and said, "The first is to take the Extremis serum, which will evolve your body and give you superpowers. The second one is to take the CH-24 serum, which will genetically reprogram your body and turn it into a perfect human body without any disease."

John wanted to know more, so he asked, "Does it have any side effects?"

Ava nodded and said, "You have to endure high pain when Extremis serum is used, but then you can control heat up to 1000 degrees Celsius with your body. Also, if you overuse it, you will be exhausted or might lose consciousness."

Ava continued, "The CH-24 serum doesn't have any side effects, and it can increase your lifespan and immune system, allowing you to fight any disease and attain a perfect peak human body."

John asked, "What proof do you have that those two serums work?"
