22 Meeting Elena Houghlin.

Ava looked at Anna and replied, "You know, I don't like getting involved in company affairs, but you still tease me about it."

Anna pinched Ava's cheek and said, "Well, I was just joking. You know, Ava, I miss the old days when a 9-year-old girl used to give me instructions about the company's future plans. But now you're all grown up."

Ava asked, "So where am I staying?"

Anna replied, "Why not stay at my place?"

Ava looked at Anna in surprise and asked, "You know I am a lesbian, right?"

Anna nodded and replied, "Yes, I know that. Your mom told me about it."

Ava asked, "Then why are you suggesting that you are married above that?"

Anna replied, "I said 'my place,' not 'my room.' I own an apartment complex near our company headquarters, so if you get the wrong idea, then it's your fault."

Ava said, "I am sorry for that."

Anna replied, "It's okay. You know, I see you as a kid. I've watched you grow up while attending each of your birthdays."

Ava responded with a fake defeated tone, "Oh... really?"

Anna replied, "You don't have to act like that. I want to ask what happened to you. I attended your 15th birthday just 10 days ago, and you've changed so much since then." As Anna pointed out Ava's breast size as she thinks it's the most significant change.

Ava replied with embarrassment, "Would you believe it if I said I had my puberty in these 9-10 days?"

Anna nodded, "I can believe it, knowing you. You're different from any normal person."

Ava placed a hand over Anna's mouth and said, "Okay, that's enough. Let's go; I'm feeling sleepy."

Anna replied and started the car, "As you wish, boss."

Ava slept in the empty apartment above Anna's apartment. After a restful night, Ava woke up and went through her morning routine. Following that, she had breakfast with Anna and her husband, Kurt, who is a professional chef and owns a catering company. They met when kurt's catering company was selected for the headquarters of Roses co-operation. Anna loved the food and the man who prepared it. They began dating, and after three years, they decided to get married. It's been two years since they tied the knot, and both are happily married to each other.

After finishing breakfast, Anna and Ava discuss various routes to headquarters, considering the media's potential suspicions if Ava accompanies Anna. Upon arriving at the headquarters, Ava sees the headquarters of Roses co-operation, situated near a clear lake. While it may not appear highly technological from the outside, it was considered cutting-edge for its time.

Ava took out the company ID that Katie had created for her. As she got inside, Ava heard a commotion.

Elena went directly to the Roses co-operation headquarters from the airport. Upon entering the building, security stopped her because she didn't have a company ID. Elena showed them the email and her driver's license to confirm that she was indeed the person mentioned in the email, Elena Houghlin. However, the security guard suspected she was lying, as many people had tried the same tactic before. This led to an argument between Elena and the security guard. As they were arguing, someone tapped Elena on the shoulder. When Elena turned, she saw a tall woman, around her own age, who looked beautiful with her tomboy hairstyle and blue eyes. This person was Ava. Elena was dazed after seeing Ava, who stood at 6 feet tall, while Elena was only 5'5" even with heels on. Ava looked at Elena and asked, "Are you Elena Houghlin?"

Elena nodded. Ava glanced at security as she scanned her company ID and said, "She is with me." The machine displayed Ava's fake name and position in the company. Security noticed and let Elena pass. Ava and Elena entered the lift, Ava scanned her ID and pressed the 16th floor button. There was an awkward silence in the lift until Ava broke it, saying, "Did you have any trouble getting here?"

Elena replied, "Aside from the security issue, I had no problem."

Ava, with a slightly guilty tone, apologized, "I'm sorry I didn't inform them about you."

Elena looked at Ava and asked, "Are you Katie?"

Ava shook her head with a chuckle, "No, I'm Ava Lewis."

Elena asked, feeling more comfortable, "Then do you know Katie? Where are we going? Where will the interview take place? Am I the only one who received this email?"

Elena continued, "How did you get a job here? You look the same age as me. Do you know the mysterious chairman of Roses Corporation?"

Ava couldn't hold back her laughter and started laughing. Elena got confused upon seeing Ava laugh. Ava replied, "You know, it's great when people are clueless," as Elena was about to ask something.

The lift stopped at the 16th floor. A man in a brown suit greeted Ava, "Welcome to Roses Co-operation Headquarters, Miss Ava. Madam Anna is in her office." He glanced at Elena. Ava, while placing her hand on Elena's head, said, "She is my partner." The man nodded and showed them the way to Anna's office. Elena thought she was being taken to the interview room. Ava and Elena entered the room. Elena was shocked to see Anna McKay, or Anna Samuel. Ava took a seat on the sofa while Elena stood, looking at Anna. Elena never imagined her interviewer would be the CEO of Roses Co-operation.

Anna looked at Elena and asked, "So, who is she?" Ava took Elena's hand and guided her towards the sofa. As Elena sat down, Ava said, "I forgot to inform you, I came here to meet her and discuss our new subsidiary energy company." Anna scrutinized Elena from head to toe and remarked, "What caught your attention other than her looks and physique?"

Elena was confused by the conversation between Ava and Anna.

Ava said, "Well, she was one of the few people who successfully cracked the 3rd layer of the 10-layer security system." Elena interrupted Ava, saying, "What do you mean? I hacked your system; I never did that."

Ava looked at Elena and said, "You tried to hack Rose's Co-operation's security system, didn't you?"

Elena nodded while glancing at Anna's face to see if she was angry.

Ava continued, "Well, I created that system."

Elena was taken aback and tried to confirm, "You mean, you created that security system?" As she looked at Anna for confirmation, Anna nodded.

Ava extended her hand to Elena and said, "Miss Elena Houghlin, let me introduce myself again. I am Ava Lewis, the nominal Director of Roses Cooperation. I use the term 'nominal' because I am not yet 18, so I require a legal guardian for the company." Anna nodded in acknowledgment.

Elena froze in her place, trying to process all the recent events. Ava gently placed her hand on Elena's shoulder and utilized her ability to calm her.
