Ava woke up at 5:00 AM and got ready. She didn't wake up Elena as she knew she might not wake up for at least 3 to 5 hours. After 15 minutes, she saw Regina waiting for her.

Ava sat in front of Regina and said, "I'm sorry."

Regina looked confused and asked, "For what?"

Ava replied, "Well, for the bet I forced you into. I think we should cancel it."

Regina looked at Ava in shock and said, "Are you for real? I mean, I also want to cancel it."

Ava smiled and extended her hand, saying, "Let's start again. I'm Ava Lewis, currently studying in 11th grade, and I like cars, technology, and music."

Regina thought for a moment, then shook Ava's hand and said, "Regina George, also studying in 11th grade, and I like fashion."

Ava smirked and said, "Let's start as friends with benefits."

Regina frowned and said, "But you just said—"

Ava interrupted her and said, "Wait... don't lie to me. You liked that kiss we shared in the mall, right?"

Regina didn't know how to answer, but she still nodded.

Ava looked into Regina's eyes and said, "Then what's the problem? I find you physically attractive, and you enjoy my physical touch. You don't have to worry about others knowing about it; I will handle it."

Regina replied, "Let me think about it."

Ava nodded and said with an embarrassed face, "Can you help me change Elena's clothes? She might not wake up for 3 more hours."

Regina asked with concern, "What happened to Elena?"

Ava explained everything to Regina, and Regina's face turned red.

On their way to the airport, Ava and Regina talked a lot. They arrived at the airport at 5:40. Ava called the airport management about her arrival, and they helped Ava and Regina with their bags while Ava gave Elena a piggyback ride. She handed two briefcases to Regina to hold.

After checking their passports, they boarded the chartered plane. At 6:05 AM, the plane took off.

Regina and Ava talked about each other's interests and hobbies. During their conversation, Ava invited Regina to spend the summer vacation with her family. However, Regina said that she would reply after talking with her mom. Ava lives in Los Angeles, and Regina's mom doesn't know that her daughter is flying to Los Angeles without her permission.

[Ava's Commentary.]

[After I injected myself with CH-24, I suddenly felt calm. Before, my emotions were unstable, and I sensed that my hormones were under control. I realized that my past decisions were rash and sudden, perhaps influenced by my puberty-induced irritability.]

Elena interrupted Ava and said, "That doesn't explain why you told her."

Ava sighed and replied, "Regina and I decided to start over again, as Regina is still considering whether she agreed to be my friend with benefits."

As Elena was about to say something, a flight attendant interrupted her and asked, "Can I help you with something, ma'am?"

Ava shook her head and said, "No, it's okay. We can handle it, right Elena?" She looked at Elena, who nodded in agreement. Ava then picked up Elena and walked towards their seats, placing her in hers. Regina watched the outside view through the window.

After landing at Los Angeles International Airport at 11:30, airport staff arranged a wheelchair for Elena, while Ava pushed it, and Elena held the briefcases. Ava, Regina, and Elena exited the airport, where two cars were waiting for them.

Kevin got out of one car and walked towards Ava. He hugged her and remarked, "Welcome back, sweetie." He then checked her height and added, "You've grown 2 inches in just 2 weeks."

Ava responded, "Let's talk about it later, Dad." Kevin then noticed Elena in the wheelchair and asked with concern, "What happened to her?"

Ava and Elena blushed, and Ava explained, "Well, she was jogging with me."

Kevin interrupted, saying, "Okay, I get it. Ava, I've told you before, don't force people to exercise. I can't even keep up with you."

Ava defended herself, saying, "But I don't force her."

Kevin sighed and glanced at Elena and Regina, saying, "Okay, I get it. And who is Elena between them?"

Ava pointed at Elena and Regina and said, "The one in the wheelchair is Elena, and the other one is Regina, my friend."

Kevin extended his hand towards Elena and then Regina, introducing himself, "I am Kevin Lewis, Ava's father." He then suggested, "You might be tired from the flight. Let's go home."

They got inside the car, and Ava helped Elena to get in as well.

Upon arriving at Ava's Beverly Hills house, Regina looked around and exclaimed, "You live in Beverly Hills!"

Ava nodded, and Regina's eyes sparkled as she said, "I've always wanted to be an singer."

Elena looked at Regina in surprise and asked, "Really?"

Regina nodded and shared, "Since childhood, I've dreamed of becoming a singer. I even took singing classes when I was 10 years old, and I uploaded videos of myself singing when I was 15." Regina paused with a sigh, "But I never got famous for my singing, only for my looks, as someone who supports a cover singer. I can't find a songwriter for myself as they..." She stopped, and Ava patted her shoulder, understanding what she meant.

Elena looked confused as she didn't understand.

Regina nodded and continued, "So, I stuck to school and became head cheerleader."

As they entered the house, Kevin helped with the luggage, and Melissa opened the door, welcoming them. She said, "I've cleaned up the guest rooms for you both. You can rest while I make something for lunch."

Ava looked at Melissa and asked, "Mom, do we have that Et-zal injection in the house?"

Melissa nodded with a worried expression, "Yes, it's in the medicine kit. Did something happen?"

Ava shook her head and said, "Nothing much, Elena's leg got numb after some exercise."

Melissa was about to say something, but Kevin interrupted, saying, "I told her it's not her fault this time."

Melissa nodded and said, "Get her to the room. I'll bring the medicine kit."

Ava took Elena to the room while Melissa brought the medicine kit. Ava put Elena on the bed and took out the Et-zal injection. Elena looked at the injection and asked, "What's that injection for?"

Ava replied, "It will help you recover faster." She rubbed cotton on Elena's leg and then injected her with Et-zal. Elena fell asleep after the injection while Ava stayed beside her.

Melissa looked at Ava and said with a smile, "You like her, don't you?"

Ava nodded and said while patting Elena's head, "Of course I do."

Ava looked at Melissa and said, "Mom, are you and Dad free tomorrow?"

Melissa nodded and said, "Yes, I am, but I don't know about your father."
