34 First kill.

After entering the lab, Ava checked it for any bugs or cameras. After ensuring it was safe, Ava began creating CH-24 and Perfect Extremis. However, the lab only had 70% of the necessary ingredients and materials, so Ava ordered the remaining items from the black market, where she knew some people. All the materials for Extremis and the quantum computer had been ordered from this black market, a non-traceable market where anything could be bought with money.

After obtaining the ingredients, Ava created a total of 10 applicators with 8 CH-24 and 2 Perfect Extremis stored in them. The entire process took her 2 days. Ava cleaned the lab and deleted the CCTV footage with the help of Katie.

Ava informed Anna that her work was done, so she could order the ingredients and materials Ava had used completely.

While Ava was in the lab, Anna announced that they would launch a live streaming platform next week. She also revealed that they had acquired Fortnite and Minecraft for 300 and 980 million dollars each last month, respectively. Fortnite would be released in 3 months, as they had a huge team to complete it within that timeframe. This news gave the esports market a huge boost.

In the lab, Ava placed all the applicators in two briefcases and left, hiding her face with a hoodie and an anonymous mask. She entered a black car, which was bulletproof and equipped with top-notch security features, disguising itself as a normal vehicle with a logo from one of her previous brands. The car also had a built-in AI system. Ava instructed Katie to drive the car to the hospital where Helen Wick was admitted.

During the night, Katie drove the car from New Jersey to New York. After an hour, they arrived in New York. Ava then took the phone and called John.

A black van stopped in front of the hospital, and ten masked men got out of it.

Mask man #1:"Do you think we can kill John wick?"

Mask man #2:"It's not a question of if, but we have to kill him, if we don't, the boss will finish us."

Masked Man #3 shouted, "Shut up, you two! We only have 15 minutes to complete the mission. After that, the boss won't be able to manage the police, and John Wick is with his wife. If anything goes wrong, we can take her hostage."

Masked man #3 continued, "But don't try to harm her, as she is Winston Scott's daughter."

Everyone nodded and started running in the hospital with guns in their hands. Masked Man #2 turned off the telephone line and activated the network jammer.

I was depressed upon hearing the news that my wife may have only 1 or 2 years to live. However, there is still hope, as that anonymous person claims that he can cure the disease that no doctor has been able to cure.

Helen was sleeping while I held her hand. I heard the footsteps of at least nine men running toward our room.

I woke Helen abruptly, urgently whispering, "Helen, get inside the bathroom and lock the door from the inside."

Helen asked, "John, what's happening?"

I covered her mouth with my hand and replied, "Don't ask questions, just go."

As Helen moved towards the bathroom, I noticed a round object falling into the room. I pushed Helen to the side and grabbed the gun.

I was calling John, but the call is not connecting. "Katie, what happened in the hospital?," I said while looking at the hologram.

[All the network lines are blocked inside the hospital, and ten fully armed men are walking inside] Katie replied.

"Fu*k it, I never thought they would attack him first. This is real life, not a movie. I should have known."

"Katie, do we have any weapons in the car?"

[No, miss. This car is bulletproof, so we haven't installed any weapons.]

"Okay, then it's a hand-to-hand fight." I adjusted my mask, hoodie, and wore black gloves. "Katie, wait for me in the hospital basement and change the number plate."

I heard a blast sound from the hospital. I got out of the car and started running towards where the sound came from. Staff and patients who could walk started running in the opposite direction of the blast.

After a few seconds, I saw a masked man with an M16. Before he could point the gun at me, I punched his right cheek with full power. His head spun 360 degrees as he fell to the ground. As I saw that, I felt like puking, but I used my ability to calm myself and took the handgun from the masked man. As I got near the room, I smelled blood and ashes. Inside the room, there were seven dead bodies of masked men's, and one masked man was holding his gun to Helen's head, while another masked man was holding his gun to John's head, as John was standing with blood all over his body.

Before they could do anything, I shot them in the head. I used my ability on myself again; I need to handle it a little more.

"Looks like I'm not too late," I said. I glanced at John, who was assisting Helen to stand, and added, "Mr. Wick, let's go; authorities might be here any second." John turned to me and inquired, "Who are you, and why did you help me?"

I replied, "Can we talk in my car? And if I wanted to kill you, why would I even help you?" John nodded and assisted Helen in walking, then started following me. After a few minutes, we arrived at the underground parking where Katie was waiting.

We got inside the car, and I took the briefcase with me, sitting in the front seat. John and Helen occupied the back seat. Now that I looked at John, he did resemble Keanu Reeves but with a little white beard, and Helen Wick looked exactly like Bridget Moynahan. I took out a medkit and passed it to Helen, who checked John's wounds and applied medicine to them.

"Katie, drive outside the city to a safe place, try to avoid the police," I said, while checking the location of police cars heading our way. John looked at me with suspicion and asked, "Who are you talking to?" I chuckled and replied, "You see, Mr. Wick, it's just my friend Katie. Anyway, Mr. Wick, nice to meet you. I'm the person you spoke to two days ago."
