33 CH-24.

After the surprise party Gloria planned for Jay, he was genuinely happy and decided to plan a trip for the whole family in the summer. He reasoned that after 6-7 months, it would be hard for Gloria to travel long distances because of her pregnancy.

Haley was taking care of Lily while Luke was being himself, creating trouble. As Claire arrived home, she saw Luke and Alex having an argument, and Haley was watching TV with Lily on her lap. Claire sighed, relieved that the house wasn't on fire.

Claire sorted out the fight between Alex and Luke, while Mitchell took Lily and left. Claire told Haley that she would discuss this trip with Phil and then allow her to spend her vacation with Ava's family.

After a long discussion between Phil and Claire, they agreed to let Haley join Ava's family while they would join Jay's trip.

Haley was happy about it as she could spend her summer vacation with her new friend.

Ava called Anna to close the Roses Research Lab of Roses Pharmaceuticals for a few days. Ava wants to create Chromosome-24 (CH-24). She was fully concentrated while checking the minor details of the results in the simulation.

In the living room, Elena looked at Regina and asked, "You don't want to be Ava's girlfriend, right?"

Regina nodded and said, with a little guilt, "I know I was wrong at first, but I did that instinctively. I didn't mean to kiss Ava."

Elena thought either Regina is telling the truth or she is a great actress. Still, Elena wants to believe that Regina is not lying. Elena put her hand on Regina's shoulder and said, "If you are not lying, then I will help you win the bet and won't let Ava get close to you." Elena was happy in her heart that she didn't have to share Ava with Regina.

In the bedroom, Ava found out that CH-24 is safe to use on normal humans, just causing a little pain compared to extremis. However, it only provides peak human body and immunity to fight any disease, but it also doubles the human lifespan.

Ava started jumping with joy in her heart as she found a formula that can increase human lifespan; this will change the very course of nature in this world.

Ava took all her equipment and put them in the bag. As she got in the living room, Ava approached Elena and said, "Elena, I have to go to the lab for 2-3 days, so please take care, and I will be back with a perfect present for you." Ava then looked at Regina and said, "Please take care of Elena, as she can be clumsy sometimes."

Elena defended herself angrily, "Who are you calling clumsy, you tomboy?"

Ava chuckled and said while rubbing Elena's head, "You are not clumsy, but you are tired, right?" Elena pouted while Regina looked at them with a longing feeling.

Ava turned to Regina again and said, "Take good care of her, and I will free you in just 2 weeks if Elena thinks your services were the best." Regina nodded, thinking whether it was a good thing for her or not.

Ava took out a card and said, "You can order anything from the company's catering for free, just use Anna's name and if there is any emergency call me."

Ava left the apartment and drove the car. She looked at the map in the hologram to RRL (Roses Research Lab) and said, "Katie, I want every single piece of information and photos about my visit to Roses Corporation deleted from any electronic devices." Ava continued, "and inform Anna to get the best and trustworthy people to guard the research Lab for the next 2 days."

[Yes, miss, it will be done in a few minutes.]

[Miss, Mr. Wick is calling you.]

Ava chuckled, "Oh really, that was faster than expected. Okay, pick it up for me."

Ava answered the phone using a voice changer, "Hello, Mr. Wick. I thought it would take you a long time."

John replied, "I don't want to play around with the conversation."

Ava chuckled and asked, "Then get to the point."

John said with a little expectation in his voice, "I just want to know if you can cure my wife's illness."

Ava replied, "Yes, I can, but it will have a price."

John asked, "What do you want?"

Ava said, "Your loyalty."

John expected this answer and asked, "But what's the guarantee that you can save Helen's life?"

Ava sighed and said, "Then how about this: after I cure Mrs. Wick, then you decide. But for that, you have to wait at least 3-4 days. Then I will meet you in New York at the hospital where you are currently staying."

John nodded, as it was the last option he had. He had already consulted various doctors about Helen's condition, but they all said the same thing: "It can't be cured; it can only be delayed a little." John didn't want to lose his only hope in life.

After hanging up the phone, Ava called Anna and instructed her to launch any future projects unrelated to Pharmaceuticals that day to distract any spies from Roses Pharmaceuticals.

Anna was confused by the order but complied nonetheless. She called a press conference and gave the Pharmaceutical Research team a week's holiday, citing the reason as allowing them to spend time with their families. Once the Research team left, Anna stationed her best and most trustworthy people to guard the lab for the duration of Ava's stay.

Ava and Anna met secretly, where Anna handed her the security key card for the research lab and informed security about it. Meanwhile, Anna prepared for the announcement.

All the competitors were eagerly awaiting the announcement from Roses Corporation, fearing it might not bode well for them. Although they had spies within the company, they had not received any news about this particular announcement.

With all the companies and their spies focused on the impending announcement, Ava slipped into the research lab and began creating the CH-24 serum.

Inside Ava's apartment, Elena looked at Regina and said with a smile, "Don't worry, you don't have to take care of me. I'm fine. Congratulations, now you only have to spend 11 to 14 days with Ava, after cutting out two weeks and two to three days when Ava is not here."

Regina nodded, but somehow she wasn't happy, even though this is what she wanted.
