"What disgusting feeling is this?"

Meanwhile, an amaroq's foot accidentally touched Heat's body.

"What the hell?!"

His foot was instantly transformed; as if it spent hours inside an inferno. Immediately they saw his burnt foot, all the amaroqs began to transform like Mel was. For the amaroq who was burnt by Heat, the evidence of flames slowly creeped up his legs.

"Guys, I'm scared."

Purple spa began to burn like a flame in Heat's chest. They stared in awe as the hole in his chest closed up.

"What in She'ol's name?"

"She'ol?" multiple voices asked.

The shaken amaroqs looked around to see if anyone else was around them, but no one was—all those voices came from Heat.

"I'll show you She'ol," he said.

"Guys, look!"

Heat's body had disappeared. Frantically, the amaroqs turned their heads; up, down, left, right, but he was nowhere. Helix, unable to contain his fear any longer, decided to flee the group. He took a first step, but before he could take a second, Heat stood before him. He fell to the ground, scrambling to his feet to flee, as his legs began to burn with black flames. One amaroq, after gathering all the courage he could, jumped at Heat; a hole opened in his chest midair and he dropped dead. Meanwhile, another had attempted a sneak attack from behind. Heat momentarily glanced at her via the corner of his eyes; her chest was set alight and large snakes emerged from the flames, encircling and swallowing her. Eventually, when the primal fight or flight instinct kicked in, all but one of the remaining amaroqs hopelessly charged at Heat. The final one watched in fear as Heat ripped through his friends. When it was all over in seconds, Heat walked up to him. The amaroq fell to the ground, tears forcing their way out of his eyes, he let out a loud howl. Heat stood still, allowing him to finish. When he did, a fiery python emerged from the ground and swallowed him whole. Heat looked around at the deaths, a wry smile crept on his face, in love with the scenery but suddenly, he fainted.

All alone in the darkness, Heat's eyes forced themselves opened—he was falling. His arms flailed about as he fell into a sea of flames. He could do nothing but crash into it. Immediately he did, coming in his direction at full speed was the giant serpent. But, just then, he felt a hand grab his shoulder and yank him out of the flames.

"Ugh!"

He grunted as his back hit a tree. A jet of water splashed on his face. Heat opened his eyes again; in front of him, were a new group of amaroqs.

"Did you do all this?"

Heat looked around at the horrifying sight, he felt sick inside.

"I…I don't…"

An angry amaroq walked up to him and threw a punch, but it was caught by another, one who looked in charge.

"Don't do anything to him. We don't know how he did all this yet. We have to be careful." Heat sighed in relief.

"Follow us without resistance. You don't look like you're in any shape to fight," she said.

The amaroq was right. Heat was completely worn out, his body felt like he had been lifting bricks for hours. Going peacefully with them was his best option, so he did. What the amaroqs did not know, was that he was just as bewildered at the deaths as they were.

"Well that's just pathetic."

The amaroqs took defensive positions at the sound of the unrecognized voice. Heat however, knew who it was and it filled him with joy.

"Supido!"

No one could detect his presence, even though they could hear him clearly.

"Don't worry, carry on."

One of the amaroqs grabbed Heat's hand tight, ready to run away with him.

"Supido! What are you doing?!"

"Say the magic word, idiot."

"Please!"

Supido chuckled. "Now that's the proper etiquette."

One of the trees started walking towards the group. As it got closer, it faded away, and its place, was a teenager with his hands pocketed.

"Run!" The leader of the amaroqs commanded.

They all began to run away, leaving Heat behind, when suddenly, their leader disappeared. Without second thought, they abandoned Heat and fled. They had barely moved when suddenly, their leader disappeared. Before they could cover more ground, her lifeless body fell in their midst, a hole where her heart was supposed to be. They stopped running and transformed, unveiling their claws and teeth.

"Don't worry; I made her do that herself. I find amaroq blood disgusting and sticky."

Behind them, Supido was still walking gently in their direction.

"We have to run!" one of the amaroqs said.

"Run?! From him?! How?!"

Three amaroqs charged at him. The first one transported behind Supido and attacked him; he spun with a kick that snapped the amaroq's neck. The other two leaped at Supido; he snapped their necks backwards by hitting their chins. All this happened so fast that to Heat, three people charged and fell almost at the same time. The three amaroqs all lay around Supido; they began to claw their chests and punch their hearts, ripping out the organ, and dying. When all the others saw what happened, in both fear and anger, they attacked Supido at once. He kept dodging them easily—they were as outclassed a little girl wrestling a giant. Tired of making a fool out of them, Supido released a burst of spa from his body that came out like a fire explosion in a furnace, only that this one was blue, the color of his spa. All the amaroqs fell to the ground, unable to move any part of their body, not even their eyelids. Their heads were bowed at the feet of Supido.

When there is a great difference in spa quality and quantity between two opponents, the weaker one is suppressed at the release of the stronger spa, and the gap between all the amaroqs combined and Supido was incredibly wide

He snapped his fingers and sparks of lightning appeared on them. Then he clenched his fist; tiny sparks of electricity appeared on the chests of the amaroqs and exploded. All the amaroqs died with holes in their heart region. Supido put one hand back into his pocket and walked away.

"Oi, Supido!"

Supido turned and looked at Heat, who was barely leaning against a tree.

"I'm sorry, and thanks," Heat said.

"I have no use for your apology. Save it for Ursus and his girlfriend."

"Ursus and Aquila are dating?"

"Of course not."

"Then why did you—never mind."

"You're such a simpleton."

Heat walked to Supido. "You used a lu'a to hide right? Does this mean you were here all along?"

"Not the whole time, but, I can almost swear on your grave that you are pathetic."

"Swear on my grave? I'm not dead."

"You will be eventually. I'm not omnipresent."

Heat lifted his arm to rest it on Supido's shoulders but Supido moved aside.

"I said I was sorry, didn't I?"

"I said I didn't care, didn't I? You have amaroq stench all over and you're sweaty. I recommend a two-hour shower and a brain surgery."

"I think so too; a shower for me and surgery for you." Heat grinned.

"Funny. If you're really sorry, beat me on our next test in class."

"You're so full of yourself, aren't you, Stupido?"

Supido chuckled. "Walk faster, idiot."

Heat ran and caught up to Supido.

"So, who's gonna come clean up?" Heat asked.

"Don't know or care. This was your mission, not mine."

Heat now wore a confused expression. "So…then, what were you doing here?"

"Be a genius for once and try to figure something out. Here's a hint, I didn't come to save your butt. Anyway, call someone for cleanup and then go to Shishio for a mission report."

"Aww, and wolfy here was acting like he didn't care 'bout me."

"I don't," Supido said and transported away.

Heat's dropped his jaw.

"Well, shouldn't be surprised."

He walked for a while and paused.

"Huh."

He didn't know why, but it felt like a dark cloud was just lifted.
