1 Prologue

A familiar tune slowly ran to my ear, it was soft, stunning, and delicately played.

My eyes blink open—the tune stopped as if it was scared of my awakening.

My eyes immediately burn after a light was flashed, I blinked twice, trying to adjust my vision.

As I did, the tune began to play once more as if it is known that I was not a danger to them.

I walked to the tune that slowly fades as I try to approach it.

I don't know why, but I feel motivated.

As I try to play catch with a sound, the tune began to sound rusty and play carelessly. Yet I continue to run to it.

My body began to sweat and my leg became numb.

I breathe faster as it continues.

Then, I began to feel a touch caressing the tip of my finger.

A smile began to creep on my face as I was finally holding the tune.

The room crumbles and panic washes over me as the tune that I was holding cracks into a familiar guitar.

The room became black as one dim light was shown down to me.

It flickers as a person appears, looking at me with their mouth open and eyes filled with fear and anger.

My body felt small and began to move on its own, holding the guitar closely into my chest.

The pain began to wash all over me. Memories I try to bury, bloom once more.

As I try to shake my tear off, I breathe in panic as my body became heavier.

The person opened their mouth, I shook in fear as they clutch their hand close.

Before words can even spill, I feel myself jolting awake with my clothes wet with sweat.

I quickly grab my hair and pull it tightly, trying to forget it.

The sound of my alarm threw me out of my thought as I take a look into my phone.

'Ah... I'm late.'
