Chapter 76

The area went silent as both Amay and Lucas stared at each other. Pain and anger throbbed in Amay's eyes as she pressed the blade to the spider's neck nearly drawing a trickle of her green blood. Lucas was hurt and still shaken up, but he had sadness and worry look in his eyes. While every part of his body was throbbed with pain and he mentally wished he could crawl out of this disgusted body and wipe what Ida did to him and the feeling of it, he couldn't allow Amay to kill her.

"Please.." Lucas tried to plead to her as he swallowed his spit, and took a step forward towards Amay. "Put the blade down."

"If you don't want to see this, then turned." Amay told him. Her voice became cold as she focused her attention back at her blade. "It would only take a few seconds. So either look away or turn around. I'm doing this."

"No." Lucas bravely said as he took another step. "I won't allow you to do this. Just up the blade...please."

Amay let out a small chuckle at him. "You aren't "allowing" me to do anything. I will slit her throat right in front of you. Now. Turn. Around, Lucas." She increased the volume in her voice as she told him one last time.

Amay could feel her own throat become dry, so she swallowed. She could hear her own heart beat loudly in her chest and the air traveling in and out of her nose. She felt the little devil on her right shoulder telling her to "Do it" and "End this once and for all." Even with those thoughts, the blade in her hand felt heavy as if she was hesitating because of him.

"Please Amay," Lucas pleaded with her. His voice was a little shaken, but he spoke softly to her. "You don't-"

"Why not?!" Amay finally snapped at him. She broke eye contact with him as she looked to her right and slowly looking around. Her mouth began to twitch as if she wanted to say something. Instead, she closed her mouth and began to shake her head slightly. Her eyes then looked at Lucas.

"With everything she did to me as a small child. Making each and every day a living hell and what she did yesterday. Why should I?" Amay asked with her eyes becoming misty. Her mouth hung open for a moment as she struggled with the next words.

"And with what she did to you. I sat there waiting for your signal as she did those things to you. Each second. Hearing you scream and the way, she took pleasure from it. I wanted to help you and each second I sat there waiting felt like an eternity." A single tear came to Amay's eye as she held onto the blade tighter. She swallowed again, before nodding her head slightly at him.

Lucas stood there listening to every word she said. He didn't realize how much pain he put her through with his stunt. His heart sunk deeper in his chest as he couldn't look her in the eyes.

"And what's to say she comes back again. If I let her go, she could kill us both somewhere down the line, and we wouldn't be ready." Amay said with a stern voice as she looked straight at Lucas. She cleared her throat, before speaking clearly with anger staining her words. She pressed the blade even closer to her neck. "So I ask you again, why should I not do it."

"It's not the right thing? Don't you have some honor or pride to not kick a person when their down?" Lucas tried to argue but was reaching hard. His heart was beating fast as he felt as if she would do it. Her words made it difficult to disagree with her, and his fear growing.

"Where was that honor when she beat me and kicked me, called me all those names, even though I did nothing to her?" Amay told him angrily. "Why should I show her of all people mercy?"

"Because if you do it, you would be proving all of them right. You are not that. You are better then them, and you're definitely better then her." Lucas told her taking another step to her as he remembered their conversation. "Don't let them win. You are not a monster."

Amay hesitated for a moment as his words touched her. Her hand began to shake as she felt her anger rise. She wanted to do it. She wanted to slit her throat and drain her blood. Her blade inched deeper into Ida's neck drawing more blood. She remembered all the times Ida's picked on her and all the times she called her names. She could feel her inner voice screaming at her, but everything went silent as she opened her eyes.

With a long sigh, Amay removed the blade from Ida's neck. She still had a fist of her hair tightly gripped in her hand, so she raised Ida's head up towards her face. The girl before hair face was barely recognizable, and she was barely conscious and was nearly gargling on her own blood.

<The only reason you're still alive is because I'm not the monster you think I am. If you ever come near me or him again, I will kill you,> Amay snarled at Ida. She then released Ida's head and allowed it to land with a wet thump. With a begrudging sigh, Amay lifted herself off of Ida back to stand straight up. She could hear Ida breathing heavily as she struggled to stay conscious. As she started to walk she stopped for a moment.

"Heal yourself and leave, before Elizabeth and her dog finds you. Just remember, this nothingness spared your life. And I won't hesitate next time I see you." Amay coldly told her without turning around as she slowly reverted back to her normal height. Without another word, Amay slowly made her way to help her badly injured partner.

"Amay,-" Lucas was about to say when she suddenly cut him off.

"Shut up and give me your arm, you idiot." Amay told him with a bitter, but concerned voice.

Lucas let out a relaxing breath as his worries started to lesson. He did as she told him and allowed some of his weight to fall on her. Pain shot throughout his arm and side as Amay did her best to help him out. As soon as he knew she had him, they began to walk towards the stream.

"Thank you.." Lucas told her as he felt an awful silent come from Amay. He couldn't blame her. A worried sigh came from his mouth as he tried to push his pain and the through of Ida behind him for now.

"Are you alright?" Amay softly asked him as she kept looking forward. While they walked her mind was conflicted with how this went. She wanted to kill her, but he talked her out of it. This was the first time in a while, she listened to someone other then Elizabeth like this. Her mind different back to Lucas and their moment together. Looking out of the corner of her eye, she looked up at him.

Lucas could feel Amay's eyes on him, but he didn't say anything as they kept walking. "They hurt, but I'll be fine. I might need therapy after all of this," he said finding himself making a job even after everything that happened.

"Yeah." Amay let out as she looked away from Lucas. She couldn't help but feel guilty for letting her get that far on to him and for not stepping in immediately. This thought ate at her strongly as she continued to walk. "Lucas.."

"You don't have to apologize," Lucas told her as if he know exactly what she was about to say. "It was my idea, and I froze up. I screwed up and allowed it to get out of my control."

"Oh..I think it worked well." A familiar voice called out from behind them.

Both Amay and Lucas felt a sudden chill went down their spines as their bodies froze in fear. A visible cold sweat went down both of their faces as they went this unnatural energy run through their bodies. Lucas began to hyperventilate as his wounds started to sting from her voice. He didn't even realize that he was holding onto Amay as tightly as he could. Amay went visible pale by the sure strength of this power.

"I'm shaking." Amay thought to herself as she could visible feel her hand shaking. She could feel her chest beating faster as her eyes began to look around as she thought of possibly idea to try and get Lucas away from this.

Ida left out a soft chuckle as she looked at the two. <I remember exactly the name I gave you, Hazukashi-sa.> She said licking her lips and popping her finger. <But that's kinda redundant, now that I think about it.>

Lucas and Amay could her the sound of moving bushes and trees as the pressure moved closer to them. They noticed her laughter sounded more different and more lustful.

A long drawn out sigh that slowly shifted into a moan left Ida mouth as she closed her eyes and allowed her hands to rub down her face, neck, chest, waist, and her new lower body. A sick laughter left her mouth as the feeling of new power course through her body. She opened her eyes looked sadly down for a moment as she let out.

<You know, Hazukashi-sa. I grow tired of this dance of ours. So I'm gonna finish what we started, and finished what I started with my fly.> Ida said with a smile chuckle.

Amay's blood began pump while at the same time the hair on the back of her neck began to stand. She felt the whole world slow down around her as her eyes looked towards Lucas. Her body shifted away from him and her elbow extend outward into his side. She didn't care how much strength she used to push him out of the way. Her body turned fully around to as blood began to flow into her hand.

Blood hit Lucas face as his mouth went wide and the slow realization sat in. His eyes looked at the ground next to Amay as blood started to form in a puddle next to her.

"Huh?" Amay let out. Her eyes went wide with shock as she looked down at the bleeding stump. Her eyes then looked at her twitching arm that laid on the ground with part of her kimono on it. Her heart sunk into her stomach and her legs felt like jelly. Everything around her went deathly silent as she looked over to Lucas who had a scared and worried look on his face. Her attention then turned to look at the sick smile on Ida's face as she raised another appendage towards her.

<What's wrong, Hazukashi-sa? Doesn't feel nice does it? Maybe you need to borrow another hand?> Ida mockingly asked her as her own smile deepened.

Amay caught her balance. Even with her body shaking from fear, a blood sword formed in her other hand. Her head hung low as she gritted her teeth with anger. Her blood like aura flowed out of her as she reverted back to her true form. Her eyes looked up at Ida with hatred and anger. She raised her head to show her smile at Ida.

"Tsk." Ida let out as the sight of that smile made her own smile faded away. A deep anger frown came across her face as she looked down at Amay.<You always found a way to piss me off. So do us all a favor and die. And this time stay dead.>

<You first.> Amay bravely told her as she was prepared to end this with her last breath. She gripped her sword tightly as she looked at the imposing bully in her new form.
