Chapter 36: Lamentations

Silence persists in the young Daemik's room. Kiora struggles to regain focus. 'I've been here before.' She thinks. The weary Daemik is caught in a haze after regaining consciousness.

"Deja vu?" Luce breaks the silence. "What do you mean?"

Kiora grimaces while her temple throbs. Suddenly, an image flashes through her mind. She sees a figure sitting beside her bed. Their visage is blurred and there's a feeling of security. 'Who are they?' She wonders. Kiora returns to her amise.

"I'm sorry," She chuckles. "I didn't mean to space out. Honestly, I'm at a loss."

Luce leans back in his chair. He clasps his knees and raises a brow. 'What's she talking about?' His thoughts trail.

"I'm not sure what I experienced," Kiora continues. "I simply felt as though I've already seen this scenario."
