Chapter 30: Confidant

Kiora pokes around a corner in the hall. She finds herself in the green house. While forgoing her usual meal, the hungry Daemik pulls at several blueberry bushes. 'Can't believe that I forgot to eat!' She laughs awkwardly. Kiora continues to peruse through the array of fruit. 'How am I to learn anything on an empty stomach?' She concedes while grasping at a handful of strawberries.

The young Daemik walks towards the back door. She walks outside of the castle with a smile. Twilicht is still nigh. The solest glows like a ruby in the sky. Kiora plops the last berry into her mouth before taking off. 'I'm sure he'll be by the stables.' She concludes.
