9 Please Bring Stretchy Pants

Still fuming a little over Connors comments about the possible damage she can do by being forceful with her telepathy when using it to question people. {It's not like I'm that forceful on good guys,} M'gann known as Megan here on Earth, was in her room defiantly not pouting.

{Stupid Conner, tonight was supposed to be a special date. Not like we get time off much, why did he have to start an argument about this today of all days?}

Using her phone to call Sera and tell her that she and Conner wouldn't be able to make the movie for the double date. In the middle of gossiping about the insensitivity of boys she felt a call come in while she was talking. Not recognizing the phone number, she decided to let it go to voice mail and continued to emotionally vent like a girl her age (48) would do.

After hanging up with Sara she decided she would just wait for Conner to come apologize to her and then forgive him. With that thought she went to sleep.

Waking up the next morning she finally remembered the call she ignored when she was talking with Sera, so she played the message that the unknown number had left.

[Hey Blood sis, it's the recipient of said transfusion here and I just broke out of Queen Bee's base after waking up in a pod. I stole the cell phone of the scientist that was watching me as I made my way out of that bad situation stomping Mammoth and his sister Shimmer while I was at it.]

[Anyway, I am really looking forward to a meet up to discuss the future. I'm sure you got a buddy that can trace where this call came from but so does The Queen B herself, so I won't be sticking around after I hang up. If you turn the direction that Megan does to go to school from home and travel a distance in miles ten times the amount of time before she finally told Conner she liked him. Then turn making east 12 on the clock and head the direction of cookies made for the bake sale you will find me in that area.]

[Look I know there isn't a reason to trust me, but blood needs help here sis. Bring your Uncle if you must but I'm really hoping family means to you what it does to me. Oh, and please bring some cloths, stretchy would be best]

Hearing the voice that sounded very much like Gar who just moved in with Rita and her friends after losing his mother in a tragic car accident. She quickly called him to see if he was playing a practical joke on her.

After 4 rings she heard "Hey Blood sis, what's up?" Hearing Garfield she asked, "Hey Gar, you didn't call me and leave a prank voicemail last night, did you?"

With surprise in his voice, he replies "Not me, I was here with Aunt Rita watching her old movies most of the night then went to bed. Why? What's up, you need this Beast Boy for something?"

Smiling, she replied "No, it's fine little brother. I'll have Robin or Kid Flash track it and let you know if it's anything important. Bye Gar" she hung up.

Walking out of her room towards the control room, her outfit changed to her hero uniform. Before she even fully enters, she calls out "Vision, who do we have mission available right now?"

The Green and Yellow costumed mentor (Nanny) for Young Justice replies. "If you are taking on a mission Miss Martian, I can recommend Wonder Girl, Kid Flash and Soldier Girl."

"I haven't worked with Wonder or Soldier Girl before; can I get a brief description please?"

Pulling up the image of a black-haired gorgeous Teen wearing a tiara holding back her hair and sporting a red and blue shoulder less corset with a gold eagle along the top for a shirt and a dark red battle skirt that went to her mid-thigh with red knee-high boots for an outfit. Finished with a golden rope hanging from her hip and a gold bracer on each wrist with a red star pattern on them.

She had a look that screamed Royalty. Vision gave a quick introduction. "This is Diana of Themyscira also called Wonder girl, protégé to Wonder Woman. She is here to gain experience to further diplomatic relations with her mother the Queen of Themyscira and the rest of the world."

The next image Vision pulled up was of a teen with a blond ponytail sticking out of a skull cap with a white star on it. Her top was dark blue with vertical red and white stripes around the waist. The same blue colored pants and brown combat boots finished off her look. The smirk on the image was almost feral, her sky-blue eyes looking cold as ice, and it showed her releasing 2 claws from her hands and then retracting them.

"This is Laura Kenny, protégé of the Super Soldier Steve Rodgers. She is a combat expert and has a very fast regeneration." Vision finished off with, "She is rumored to be a clone of Rodgers."

"Call them up to the briefing room please I will go prep Bio-ship."

"Will Superboy be joining the team?" Vision asked. "No, leave him out of it for now." M'gann said forcefully.

Gone was the heart troubled teen from last night and in its place was the experienced Miss Martian, proud niece of the Martian Man Hunter but she still wanted her apology before talking to Conner.

After ensuring Bio-ship was ready to go, she went directly to the briefing room where she found Vision, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash and Soldier Girl. Surprisingly Robin was on the screen as well.

"Thanks for being here everyone and I'm glad I can have your input, Robin." Handing her phone to Vision she begins. "Approximately 8:40pm last night I had an incoming call leave a message on my phone." Nodding to vision to play the message they all listened intently, after it was done Robin told Vision to trace the origin and then asked M'gann "This message make sense to you?"

Taking a breath Mis Martin replied "If Garfield Logan sent me this massage it would be perfectly understandable to me. All the references are to my favorite show from Earth when I was back on Mars. The only thing that doesn't make sense is that I just talked to him, and he didn't send it."

Looking at Robin and Kid Flash. "You guys were there when I gave him the transfusion and you know my fascination with his mother Marie Logan's character in Hello Megan."

"I really need to get to the bottom of this. But he is right, I have no reason to trust him so I'm hoping the team can look out for me if things go bad." M'gann replied

"The most genuine part of that overly smart message was the request for clothes, stretchy ones at that. Who asks you to bring them clothes if they aren't in a bad way? Knowing Beast Boy's specialty, it makes even more sense." Kid Flash said.

"If you have a family member and there is a chance they are in trouble then we must go. Honor demands it, even if it is a man." Wonder Girl said with an imperious tone.

"I would like to point out that despite the convoluted directions, if he was being watched by scientists then they regarded him with some value and most likely implanted him with a tracker. So, despite his attempt at being smart they most likely will get to him before you do." Robin gave his opinion.

After everyone spoke, they all turned towards Soldier Girl waiting for any input she had. "You out rank me and are in my current chain of command. You point at a hill; I kill it or defend it depending on your orders." Folding her arms, she waited for her orders.

"Miss Martian if you want this mission, I will put you in charge. Check it out and report back what you find. Your team's safety comes first so only reasonable danger conditions permitted. I am meeting up with Devilbat after this and will inform him that Queen Bee is still making waves. Vision, inform me if normal check-ins fail to happen. Robin out." The screen went black

Vision's robotic voice sounded. "These are the coordinates that the call originated from, while the meeting was going, I tried to find the Hello Megan show online to extrapolate the destination of the individual that placed the call, but I failed to find the show. Would you like to provide the relevant information?"

Happy that the show she loved so much was being used, she denied Vision. "No that's ok, I will take care of it on bio-ship in route." Looking at the team that was assembled she said, "Let's get moving."

A red ship exited the Mount justice of Happy Harbor air space and shimmered until it was no longer visible.

Inside the ship a young man dressed in a yellow and red outfit with his red hair showing flittered around the ship as though it was painful for him to sit still.

Stopping at Soldier Girls chair he says, "Hi I'm Wally. I have to ask, what's it like working with the greatest soldier of all time? He was crash enough with being super strong after the serum they gave him in WW1 but why the update of metal bones and claws in WW2? When he was frozen did he have a 70 year dream?"

Laura looked at this irritating chatter box of a teammate and answered. "He is an excellent teacher, though his inspirational training speeches can wear on you after some time. The rest is classified, and I have no permission to reveal what little I know." Trying to keep her voice even and unemotional so as to not invite further questions.

Not finding anything interesting here Kid Flash then moves to the snack bar and downs as many tasty calories as he can over the next 2 minutes. Then he moves to the other new teammate.

"Your Diana right Princess? You are a princess, correct? You should be with your looks. But don't think I'm hitting on you or anything I'm with my girl Artimis, you know the super-hot blond with the bow and arrow in the green outfit! Obviously not the Goddess Artimis. Can you fly like Wonder Woman?"

"Obviously not the Goddess Artimis, she is forever chaste and would smite you for thinking of her in that way. Though I hear she is rather impressed with her namesake here on the mortal realm, with just that one glaring flaw." Seeing this irritating man-child still here, she decides to continue.

"My elder sister flies by controlling the winds around her, I can fly due to my blessings of the old gods. Specifically, the gift of Hermes allows this ability. Also, I am the daughter of the ruler of Themyscira. So, a Princess I am indeed and not used to this prattle before a battle. Leave me." Wonder Girl finished.

Taking the subtle hint, he moves to M'gann to see if she had discovered their destination.

"Wow, quite the friendly team we have assembled here Megan. You figure out where we are going?"

With a light chuckle she replies. "Well, she is from an island of women only so talking with men must be strange to her and it doesn't help that you were staring at her chest the whole time she was answering your questions, Wally."

Seeing his bashful look, she rescues him. "I won't tell Artimis." she laughs while saying.

"And as far as the directions go, only the last bit is a little tricky. Megan was supposed to make 2 dozen cookies but decided to make one big one to save time. So, either he is trying to be sneaky by just traveling east or he is moving southeast."

"I would think southeast, but if Robin is right, we should see from far off if we are in the correct area or not." Kid Flash replied

With a trace of worry in her voice M'gann replied "Well we will be the before too long so let's hope it's not a trap and that whoever made the call is ok."
