131 Failure

 When the blast from Scream Queen hit, Silverflash could not react as he was the main target. Everyone else got knocked around, but he was directly hit and thrown the farthest. Seeing as how Scream Queen was part of Johnny Quick's crew, she knew how to disable a speedster. 

 Luckily for him, Logan stopped her from being able to follow up after the first hit. When he was finally able to clear his head and enter the fight, he saw Johnny about to skewer Devilbat so he charged from the side and blasted into him with a shoulder block. Knocking him to the ground several meters away.

 Johnny wasted no time in getting into his sprinter stance and charging at the red and silver figure that challenged his speed. Not willing to be a standing target, Silverflash sprinted to meet his fellow speedster in an effort to see who the fastest man on the moon was at this time. The two figures raced side by side, keeping no straight line or set track. Moving all over the battlefield, sometimes too fast for people to register. 

 This fight was at first, less about physically confronting each other and more about who was fastest, who was more nimble as they moved. At first, Johnny felt he had the upper hand because Silverlfash seemed to always be behind him. However, after paying closer attention, he began to notice that as he was doing his best to beat this fellow speedster, Silverflash was taking every opportunity to disrupt the battles going on as he ran past. A nudge there, a smack to the back of the head here, he even saw Silverflash disrupt his own running rhythm to kick a rock at Zeik and damage the jet boot portion of his suit. 

 Doing all that and still keeping this close to him was a bit humiliating for Johnny. So, Johnny fell back a bit to run beside Silverflash and he then started throwing punches, trying to test the waters in a physical confrontation. They both began throwing punches at a rapid pace, even by their standards. Johnny threw a punch at Silverflash's midsection, only for it to be blocked. Johnny then in frustration threw a punch towards Silverflash's face only for him to catch his fist and then with his other hand, grabbing Johnny's forearm and using a judo throw Devilbat had trained him in, Silverflash threw Johnny to the ground in front of him. 

 Johnny bounced along the floor like a flat rock skipping on the surface of a pond after a great throw, coming to a halt when he finally crashed into a stash of weapons that were supposed to be sold to Inter-Gang later the same week. Laying amidst all the rubble, Johnny started to throw parts of the weapons at Silverflash like they were knives. 

 Silverflash caught the first couple of pieces, but Johnny kept throwing more. So Silverflash started spinning quickly like a mini tornado as all the pieces Johnny threw came his way. Slowly, the silver and red tornado started getting closer to Johnny. When Johnny ran out of things the throw, the tornado stopped and Silverlfash placed the reassembled bomb in Johnny's hands. Then he punched him across the jaw as hard as he could, knocking him out in the process. 

 -(Luthor)- 

 As everyone was fighting, Luthor had finally cleared the cobwebs out of his head and started making sense of what he was seeing on the computer screen. Some sort of search program with specific parameters. Knowing what Owlman was looking for, Luthor tried to shut the search down. But he was totally locked out, nothing he did from this computer would stop the search. But he kept trying anyway.

-(Owlman vs Devilbat)-

 Owlman had taken control of the fight on the staircase and as he and Devilbat fought on the first landing. Matt tried to regain the advantage, however, Owlman had started using the exoskeleton in his suit to overpower him. 

 Walking backward, Devilbat tried keeping the high ground to give him better opportunities to use his legs as the weapons they were. Unfortunately, Owlman's defense was too good, and Matt had to keep moving up the stairs until he reached the top landing of the catwalk around the QED. 

 Owlman made a double jump kick toward Devilbat's face that required Matt to flip backward, creating space between the two men. Owlman tried to close in quickly, but Matt sent a right kick towards his head that Owlman could only avoid by placing all his balance on his left side and turning his head to the point he lost sight of his opponent. Seeing this, Devilbat quickly sent a left kick into Owlman's stomach that landed so solid that the impact of Owlman on the guardrails that they bent. 

 At this point Devilbat was lying on his back from kicking with both feet, he placed his hands above his head and tensed his stomach to flip off the ground and back to his feet. However, before he could fully set himself, Owlman caught him with a kick to the midsection that also pushed him into the handrail hard enough to bend it, making it match the other side. 

 Devilbat however clenched the leg before Owlman could pull it back and used it to throw Owlman face first on the metal surface of the catwalk. Owlman reacted quickly as both men were on the ground and kicked Devilbat in the face. Using the momentum from the kick to roll away and regain his footing. He noticed that the fight had taken him rather close to the QED interface monitor and keyboard. 

 Devilbat also rolled backward and using the roll he placed his hands at his belt and pulled two Devilwing's and without hesitation threw them at Owlman. 

 Owlman saw them coming and spit some blood from his mouth onto the floor as he pulled one of his wings and threw it at an angle to intercept the two thrown by Devilbat. The one wing was so powerfully thrown that not only did it knock the two Devilwing's down, but it continued on with enough force that Matt had to dodge it. 

 Keeping another wing in his hand, Owlaman again rushed into close combat with Devilbat. The two men continued to trade blows back and forth, neither giving the other a minute to breathe. Anyone looking could see the joy on Owlman's face at such a worthy fight. In contrast, Devilbat was stoic and methodical in his approach to the fight. 

 A fraction too much strength in a punch caused Devilbat to extend just a bit too far forward and Owlman capitalized on the mistake. Owlman grabbed the left arm of Devilbat with his left hand and drew him farther forward and off balance, then came down with a right overhand punch that connected solidly on Matt's jaw, stunning him for a moment. Before he could recover, Owlman clenched his two hands together and delivered an uppercut with all the strength he could muster in his body and laid Devilbat out on his back nearly unconscious. 

 With a maniacal grin on his face, Owlamn started towards his opponent, only to stop when the nearby screen started beeping. Growling in frustration, Owlman looked at the screen to see a red box flashing with the name Earth Prime next to a picture of planet Earth. He approached closer to ensure it met all the requirements he had put in. When he saw that it did, he pulled his portal device out and entered the coordinates, then placed his hand on the QED. The sneer on his face dripped with disdain as he and the bomb phased out of sight.

 Lex Luthor was still typing rapidly trying to get past the firewalls, so he could disable the QED, but as it faded away, he knew he failed. The biggest threat to his and every world, every Multiverse out there, and again he failed. Lex hit his knees in despair. "NOOOOO!!!"

 His cry was heard by everyone, and they stopped fighting long enough to see the QED was gone.
