Am I The Villain?

[Disclaimer: A lot of chapters were removed and revised, starting on chapter 5] TP was your everyday average neet. Aside from working once a week, all he did was play games, eat chips, read manga, and occasionally write comments complaining about how bad a series he continues to watch is. But, he does have ONE particular hobby he picked up a few years back: To give as much hatred as he can to one particular novel. He didn't plan to stop unless his anger faded, or the author stopped writing. But, surprisingly, the undeserving author kept on writing despite having no readers aside from the occasional.. or daily hate comment and reviews from TP. Even TP had to give him credit for his unyielding spirit to write such a terrible novel. One day, after TP satisfyingly left another bad review and went to sleep, what he noticed was something quite unordinary. Something Uncommon. Or rather... impossible. He woke up to a body that wasn't his, and a written letter: Dear Toilet Paper, it has come to my notice that for the past 2 years you have not once missed to leave a single comment on every new chapter I have made. As a writer, I have much to learn; thank you for your criticisms. However, as much as I'd like to continue the story and keep you entertained, I have to put it to a stop. But, since you obviously like my story so much, I've gotten a perfect opportunity to keep you entertained. Hope you like it. Keep in touch, ~Xoxo, your lovely author, Janissa.] ____ COPYRIGHT THUMBNAIL, ALL CREDITS (ASIDE FROM TEXT) GO TO XRallenX ON DEVIANTART. Beg For Forgiveness?

It wasn't long after sleeping that the periodic knocking became louder. I felt the headache earlier passed after sleeping, and slowly got up into a sitting position.

With my eyes half-open, I hazily looked around my room with the muffled knocking in the background.

I pinched myself to see if the room would suddenly take me back, but it seems that the letter was true.

It was weird, but it felt like I'd skipped all 4 stages of grief and was in the acceptance stage. Other than that, I felt mildly irritated with the knocking and having to miss all the things I would of and should of done today, like staying indoors.

I got up, went to the door and opened it in a daze.

"Whaa-"

Before I could answer, a fist landed on my face.

"Ah-" With her hand still on my face, she continued to introduce herself. "You're... Ian, right? I'm Amanda, I'm apart of the Student Association. It's only been a week and you've already missed 3 classes. During the orientation, we clearl-"

Why does she keep talking? Get your hands off my face.. I can't breathe...

"P-please get your hand off my face first.."

"Oh, I apologize." She slowly set her arms beside her, and continued impassively. "Since you weren't listening, let me repeat myself. I am Amanda, a Student Association member, and I'm here to give you a warning. During the orientation, it was clearly stated that you're only given 6 unnoticed leaves. With already half of that gone in just 1 day, you only got yourself 3 more before suspension."

She pulled out a white paper from her clipboard and held it out in front of me.

"This is the official notice. You'll get an additional one sent to you via your student ISSN(intelligent student systematic network)."

I took the paper and glanced over it, but it was blank. "There isn't-"

"Look, I'm not usually the type of person to care about other peoples circumstances, but your behavior really irks me, so I just wanna say the least you could do is try before your inevitable failure. But, since you are last place in the rankings, I don't even think you'll last another week."

After interrupting me, she turned around and walked away before I could even ask questions.

Looking at her back, I sighed and shut the door.

_______________

Now, where do I begin?

In my state of confusion and no where else to go, I sat down on the desk right beside my bed and put down the paper.

I flipped it up, then flipped it back down. I repeated this motion for a while, trying to see it magically change, but nothing.

I leaned back on the chair and tried to recall what the contents of the letter were that was in my pocket.

Going back here, I unconsciously must have threw it away and lost it since I couldn't see it anywhere.

'Keep you entertained.'

It was what I remembered the most. It was polite yet irritating. Then, this must be some sort of revenge from the author, right?

I admit, I guess I might've been a little too toxic. But, was it really enough to warrant an isekai? It was an irritating thought.

Could I even go back? Did I have to beg the author?

Suddenly, I remembered another line in the letter. 'Will keep in touch.'

How long would I have to wait? Maybe she'll just magically appear in front of me. I guess I would be able to use that chance to beg for forgiveness.

I didn't want to stay here after all, since this is probably the Academy that the main cast was attending, from what the girl just now was saying.

As I thought about how to apologize, the blank paper that I was staring at suddenly began to glow and a series of squiggly letters began to appear one after the other.

I backed away in surprise, closing my eyes, and a few seconds after it stopped slowly stopped glowing.

I carefully peaked moved back towards it and peaked to get a reading.

It was a letter from the author.
